Should we not keep him and peddle Pope?

Surely prime time for the inevitable move up to Celtic.

Depends on who would cost less money (or to be more accurate, cost less PSR spreadsheet numbers) to keep around or a couple years.

Also depends on who is more willing to be #2 I suppose. That might be Ramsdale.

He was very good on Saturday great threaded passes into our midfield three which started our attacks off.

Still needs to be better at coming off his line for through balls but that's just a small problem I have with him.

He's Much improved after his return to the starting lineup keep it up son.

If we could loan him again I wouldn't be opposed to avoid having to find two goalkeepers. But we need to be aiming higher so I hate the idea of making any kind of commitment to him.

Swap for someone like Jacob Murphy wouldn't be too bad. Probably similar transfer fees.

Big Joe is reportedly 6’1”. Ramsdale looks a good couple of inches taller than him. Confusingly though, Osula is supposedly 6’4” and Ramsdale looks at least as tall as him too!

There's a slope on the pitch, it drops down towards the Gallowgate

Has Ramsdale connceded more goals for us than he has made saves?  It really wouldn't surprise me.  I'm not suggesting he should have saved any of them tonight, but I am struggling to think of any one on ones where he hasn't conceded.

He's got this weird habit of not really being at fault for any of the goals we concede but loads seem to go in. Makes me feel like howay, you could save one or two of these for fucks sake.

He just has no reach at all. Anything slightly away from him is in the net.

I've never known a goalkeeper be so bad at actually saving shots.

Far bigger problems than him tonight and he'll be sent on his way at the end of the season anyway.

He's better than Pope, but not the level we need to be were we want to be.  But it's quite bizarre we're even talking about him tonight given the problems we've had that he was no part of.  Seems like some people just need to find somewhere to put their frustration that they don't want to aim at players they ike.  Players who actually have been specifically at fault, or maybe the manager?

If it stops us signing him permanently, then yes!

You think anything you or any of us say on a forum will help decide who the club signs?  It won't, just be honest he wasn't the issue tonight and it's weird he's even on the conversation.

Not a top class keeper - makes no sense to keep him beyond this season.  We need to buy a new No.1

He’s miles off. Not just based on today, he just is.

I don't support blaming Ramsdale for the hammering, but we definitely shouldn't sign him permanently. He's clearly not good enough.

The goal from the corner was him. That close in and that low is keeper's ball to clear.

He seems to have no spring or power in his dives and he often seems to react late. Not that it matters tonight, as there was some ruthless finishing. But he has always been like that since getting here.

Exactly that.  I don't like the idea that there could be, say, 4 shots on target at the weekend and by his shot success up until now at least 2 of them are going in.
