An old Bournemouth player who has been relegated with 3 teams, incredible

Nearly won the league with Arsenal too, to be fair.

I think he's one of those who has gone from being overrated to being underrated too much.

I mean the interview where he said he struggles concentrating doesn't help, mind [emoji38] Or the interview his dad did at Arsenal.

He's kind of became seen as a bit of a joke when he's definitely better than that.

A loan with option to buy on a talented keeper with plenty of question marks over him in isolation makes sense.

Use the funds earmarked for GK to strengthen elsewhere, get Ramsdale in on essentially a year long trial.

It's just another drop in the big pint of piss that has been this transfer window, though.

He isnt better than what we have and as moved on because he cant use his feet, thats the biggest issue for me. hes a good shot stopper but he was replaced by Raya and Kepa is seen as a better option. So why not get kepa for 5m?

He is the kind of keeper who likes to be involved in a game rather than happy doing nothing all game. if its anymore than 10 - 15m we have been had.

I don't think hes signed if he hadnt played for Eddie before

Hmm.. Isn't he more of a shot stopper and not so much a distributor? What does he give us that Pope doesn't? Less injuries I suppose.. His distribution is probably a little better atleast?

His long ball distribution is fairly decent IIRC.

You know why, we fixed on Trafford it fell through and now we are scrambling and an option which is safe to Eddie has been chosen.

He was Arsenals number one when they came second to City, so yeah his distribution is at least superior to Pope.

Yes we are scrambling but lets get it right, it didnt fall through, we failed to close. Somebody like Ross Wilson would change this or using a permanent agent.

One the good side we will be in one hell of a position PSR wise next year [emoji38]

Prefer the stuff you do about his little hand

He's obviously a prospect might aswell go for one like that then a poor keeper we've got plenty of them already.

I expect any sporting director we do sign to be responsible for negotiating transfers for the players Eddie wants and not much else tbh.

As I said at the time, it's obvious to me Mitchell lost the power struggle and was binned/sidelined
