I realised years later Pliers was the singer and not the MC, always thought it was the other way round. They always seemed an odd couple, like a handsome young guy and his pervy uncle.

If we could get him back to his best when he was at Arsenal it wouldn't be a total disaster, but honestly what has come of our scouting network when this guy is seemingly our best choice? It's like weve just pivoted to another English keeper that's attainable rather than think outside the box just a little bit.

So that means he's a top target, then. We don't really do bids around here.

I don't think Ramsdale is any better than Pope.

He's also 27 and a massive bell

27 is not old for a keeper - coming up to prime age, in fact.

He’d be back up for Pope who is probably the best shot stopping GK in the PL (admittedly poor with his feet, though),  still a very good keeper.

"heavy loan fee" makes no sense in any way whatsoever.

Unless the club are actually delivering it in cash.

It means this window has been weighing Andy Howe down.

Makes you think.

I mean that passing accuracy one might be a bit of a red herring as pope can pass OK when its a tap or roll to BDB or trips etc ask him to kick it more than 5 yards and its like he wants to kick a field goal into the stands.
