He's won everything so far. This is a lot of money for an inconsistent slightly injury prone player and I don't rate Ramsdale, but I'm a Howe cultist so go for it Edward, I trust you.

So we're swapping Willock for Willock effectively. 

 

If Willock had stayed fit and maintained his form of 22-23 then he'd be in the £40m bracket too. 

 

Not that I think Ramsey is worth that. He was when he burst on the scene but he's had a tough last two years, similar to Willock. 

 

Just don't  like the idea of giving Villa £40m of homegrown bonus PSR.

Fee is steep, but the biggest concern wich is a major one, is his fitness.

We need 2 CM's ideally, Ramsey and El Kanoooooossssa then we has probably the best midfield options in the Prem imo.

Sounds like he was on his way out anyway to West Ham so they would have got that much anyway

I've been a huge Willock apologist for a long time but Ramsey is better than Willock like, particularly at the bottom line of goals and assists.

Good signing this. He's perfect for that left sided midfielder role. If Isak wasn't being a cunt this would be a good window - we've got a really strong first eleven and we've upgraded our squad by adding Elanga and Thiaw, then replacing Dubravka with Ramsdale and Longstaff with Ramsey

Hate to say it as a Willock defender for many years but he clears him in every category.
