gbandit
I agree, I think we’ll see a quality goal return from him this season. 10 goals across all comps and a good number of assists too

alexf
Obviously pleased to sign him and hope he does really well. But a part of me thinks isn't this like if we sold Willock to someone and they were buzzing looking at all the clips of him online and seeing the 22/23 version and not the current one we have had post injuries? It's kinda same for Ramsey, all the footage of him online seems to be from him at least two years ago and very little from last year and obviously was out injured the year before that. I think we bought Isak on the same basis. Others passed on him because of an injury. Howe bet he would bounce back.
John P
1 hour ago, Danh1 said: Interestingly worded It's just the same situation we had with Anderson isn't it. He probably didn't want to move and Villa didn't want to sell him, but they had to due to their PSR situation. Anderson has gone from strength to strength though and it was probably actually better for him career wise to make the move, hopefully it will be the same for Ramsey here
Moose
I've got a really good feeling about this lad. He came across very well in his interview, he backs his ability, seems like he comes from a good family, already has links to the area and is pally with a few of the squad already. 39m gets you next to fuck all these days especially in the way of PL proven quality. An absolute bargain.

Palestoon
If Ramsey can stay healthy and regain his form, hes going to be a star for us. The team is desperate for a dynamic playmaker in midfield, and someone who can play effectively in the space between the center of the park and the final 3rd. He's a beast physically, but also has the technique, and dribbling ability to be the link we've missed the last few seasons. Think hes going to suprise alot of people this season

Sibierski
7 hours ago, Stifler said: Players are now speaking out against PSR. Long term as the transfer fees keep rising with inflation, and £110m rolling window remains the same, their wages are going to be stagnating / harder to get deals later in their careers. So more noise from them will be a good thing, more behind closed doors to push changes.
Gallowgate Toon
I think this'll be a great signing if he stays fit. He seems a really technically secure player, not afraid of getting the ball in tight spots + has intelligent movement. I get Anderson vibes from him, probably more explosive but less gritty. TheBrownBottle
Not often I feel sorry for Villa, but it’s a shite state of affairs. Must be gutting to lose one of your own because of daft financial regs

Famous Nick
good luck to him, we needed someone in the middle, he can provide quick feet, some attacking help too, bit injury prone but that means hopefully rotation can be helped unless injured same time as Joelinton, Willock lol. we have so many games coming up, Howe needs to use minutes very clever way to avoid burning them out too early. also intensity in PL is just going up as I see weekend games, teams in CL-EL will find it hard from October when they play teams that can sit back and relax midweek. KetsbaiaIsBald
I think it’s quite risky starting a new signing in his non preferred position. Especially as striker.
