This is just a personal take, and of course I could be massively wrong, but he doesn't excite me at all. Think we will end up getting fleeced for a very average player. 

 

Yeah, that's fair if you prefer a different style of player.

 

I think that we're prioritising a striker that can get the job done in the Prem due to not having Isak temporarily and perhaps even permanently going forward.

 

If Isak does end up leaving I think we will then see another striker more in the mould of what you describe coming in.

 

Also Strand Larsen is not some clunky plodding target man, and his link up and ability on the ball is way ahead of a Chris Wood.

Wilson was a top striker before last season, did anybody actually think we were gonna replace him for under 40 million? Strikers cost money and there's not an abundance of good ones around.

Yeah I like him but I think we won't get it done. I think our best option is to bring Toney in on loan if PIF allow it. Many precedents of them signing players, them not staying long and end up.at other clubs on loan with alot of their wages being paid by the Saudi club.

Whoever we get now will be an overpay, but its still far better than going with no striker.
