Kanj
Couldn’t give a single fuck what the fee is. If we had big JSL in both matches we’d be on 6 points. We’re creating crosses that are begging to be put away by a competent and talented CF and our boys are defending fucking exceptionally well - and that’s v Villa and Liverpool. Distill all bias aside. If the club want him go and get him man.

That's the only scenario that makes sense for us I'm past caring whether Isak stays or goes. Baldwards baiting the eScousers is great entertainment though and I'm glad he's doing it. They all sound completely unhinged.

I just worry about wasting our limited PSR headroom on what feels a plan E striker. Will always trust in Howe and the scouts end of the day. Disagree with your point we are creating crosses of any note. 1 each game both half chances over the bar by Gordon.

Basically the fee is agreed in private then both clubs agree on a strategy for the sellers to make it look like they dug in and the buyers made to look like they’ve getting a bargain. Don’t think this anecdote applies in the Premier League anymore. Especially with us If that's the case then why have we specifically set out to look like mugs for multiple windows. Stottie
Secret Footballer was Dave Nugent or heavily rumoured to be? That predates PSR. There will be more accounting bods sticking their oar in now.

Plan E becuase the others either wanted more money or weren’t willing to sit on the bench for Alex to play 99% of the matches he’s fit. I dont love where we are either mate but as you’ve seen from me before I’ve done layman’s research on goal scoring records amongst players in Europe and JSL has a decent one. Shocked you’d disagree with my point, 2 point blank headers a proper striker puts away in those two matches. Weren’t half by any stretch. A stronger CF puts away a cut back Gordon got to last night as he uses his strength to get in front or strikers movement to get there earlier (no knock on AG who I thought did well in both). Not trying to pull you up on anything either mate, just my opinion of course. Budget is for the bean counters at Barrack road, not i. I do enough of that in my day to day and as of this week I’m really tired of worrying about it for NUFC. This summer in the transfer market has properly drained the life out of me just wanna watch football and talk football only.

andycap
I think moise Keane would be just as big if not more a risk then paying for larsen. Atleast larsen has the physicality for the league and can actually score goals in the league aswell. When Keane was at Everton he couldn't even get on the bench. aussiemag
I think we are forgetting that Isak was world class for maybe 3-4 months of the season. The beginning and end of the season he was very much a passenger. If we can get a consistent 7/10 striker all season, rather than one who’s a 9/10 for half the season and 6/10 for half the season. Izakaya
The Brexit Eddie label switching slightly from wanting only English players to only bidding for players who play for English clubs. There HAS to be more value/talent on the continent.

LaurentRobert
Was lurking on the Wolves forums and the consensus was that they should sell him for anything above £60m because he'll never be worth that amount of money ever again. They clearly feel that his recent purple patch towards the end of last season has masked alot of his poor performances. This has all the hallmarks of a panic buy, but with 5 days to go we're in a situation where we simply need bodies through the door. We can't go into next season with 1 striker who currently refuses to play for us. Isak's unprofessionalism has really derailed our pre-season, transfer window plans, and has now clearly cost us points already this season. Selfish behaviour beyond belief. What do you think a DoF could have done differently from whats happened ? Gone after lower grade players from the start ? Ive said it before but here I go again. If someone on here posted at the end of May that we had a list of Delap, Pedro, Ekitike, Sesko, Wissa and Strand Larsen, the vast majority on here would have said we'd get at least one of them. The circumstances that the snake has created is what has driven this window the way it has and Im not sure what a DoF or anyone else could have done differently.
