He is second on my preferred list after Wissa based on realistic options currently. I do think he will surprise a few people if we do get him in.

I can see Elanga bagging many assists if this does come off.

Seems like nobody wants to do business with us. Pariahs of the football community.  Lepers of the premier league etc.

There does seem to be a flaw in trying to do most of our business in a league where they opposed our takeover, and then when it happened all got together to invent rules to prevent us being successful.

ATM we have no choice. Just do it, offer 65m and close the deal.

Go from 55 to 65 in one swoop? Jesus, someone hasn't read Donald Trumps art of the deal.

Relax

Not read the article so sorry if it mentions it but we bid 55 so extra mil won't be an issue.

Been told we will be back in.

He's also told the club he wants to play for NUFC.

Speak to you all about this when it's sorted 😊

Edit just seen the ornstien one so yeah basically spot on.

Celta Vigo must be raging seeing him go for 60m just a few weeks after selling him for 23m (I know it was an obligation)

I'm excited by this signing. At least he's proven to be a very good finisher in a poor Wolves team.

It's also a reason I've got some gut feeling that he may not suit us very well.

We knew we need a Wilson replacement before Isak's transfer saga, so if we rate Larsen that highly, we would have tried to gazump Wolves' buy option. We didn't do this even after Delap chose Chelsea.

Gives me some vibe of Chris Woord. Not necessarily that he is bad. But we tried to buy an okay striker at whatever price during some urgency. I could see us paying 60-65m for Larsen, turn out not scoring a lot for us, then sell him at 35-40m to Forest in 2 years and he start to pour goals again

Find it interesting that all of the journalists are putting out the same message that he isn’t agitating for the move. I get the impression that’s as much been put out by our side so we’re not being seen to be disrupting players like the Isak/Liverpool situation.

Im desperate for this deal to get done now.
