No idea who that fella is or what he does, but I know for a fact he hasn't done enough this window and should be justifying remaining in his job to the forum.

Leave wor Andy Kaspar alone. Club legend

When did we bid for Delap ?

That’s a weak argument, it’s proves we tried but not that we did everything in our power. It’s line going to a town centre with several Greggs, teeing to buy a steak bake in the first one then if it’s sold out everyone saying well they did everything they could as they tried the first Greggs. As it stands right now for the second time Howe has got us to the CL and is going to be left with very little to compete. On the pitch we’re great, other than that at the moment we’re a shambles.

Wolves are looking at a Genk striker, so if they get him surely a deal can be done.

With 4 days left we can’t be hoping Wolves get someone else in that makes them more open to selling, anything could go wrong with that transfer.

If Ornstein is tweeting that from the club surely Wolves has stated that to us, unless it is a ploy to get us to offer a really daft amount for him that would simply be too good to turn down.

This has to be one of the most frustrating windows for a number of reasons.

At this stage I will be happy with a couple of unknown's minimal risks from abroad. As much as I would want Osula to come good nothing so far suggests he would be anything more that a third choice to use in cups or in extreme emergencies.

I think another issue is that the Championship are not producing the strikers they have previously and therefore clubs like Wolves and Brentford can't look there anymore to replace their star players

In the past there's been a decent amount of strikers in the lower leagues that may be able to make the step up.  I'm struggling to think of any that are viable for those clubs at the moment.  The likes of Josh Sargent and Adam Armstrong aren't going to provide the goals needed for mid to lower Prem clubs

It means they have to go abroad which can bring about it's own risks but also opens up bigger foreign or domestic clubs to take their targets

It's looking like we're fucked isn't it. Its going to take a miracle now. Mid table at best and our other top players started thinking about moving on.

Doooooooooom

Our two first matches tells me we won’t be mid table.

We are a solid side and have strengthened wisely this window.

The lack of new striker(s) is a worry, but come on man:)

Yep. The market we’d ideally be looking in for our 12 month bedding in purchases are already being drained by bottom half of PL teams offering lots of game time and quite often starting game time.
