All I've seen is us desperately throw bids in after scrabbling further and further down our target list. Now after three bids they appear to have all but told us to fuck off. There seems to be one constant in all of these negotiations and it's us throwing bid after bid in, wasting weeks on a player before being told to kick rocks in some form or other. Feels like almost 4 years on from the takeover, we've somehow ended up with less transfer contacts to know who we actually have a shot at than we started with. midds Posted August 28, 2025 Share Posted August 28, 2025 Can't blame Wolves for not selling like, it's a ridiculous time to buy/sell a big striker. Whatever has or hasn't happened for every move to collapse at the end of the day we don't have a striker and unless that's sorted, by hook or by crook, then it'll impact the entirety of the season. That's not acceptable in any way shape or form. This is why people were so frustrated and angry 4 or 5 weeks ago - not doing business on major areas of the squad early enough meant we'd be in this situation, it's not bad luck, it's poor from the transfer team.
