Another away game where the opposition will be there for the taking, but are we up to it?

At least these Scouse fuckers will play to win rather than sit back such as the likes of manure did.

Absolutely, Slot would never go for a deep block so we just have to do enough defensively to soak it up and take our chances when they present themselves because we will get them. The first 30 minutes will be an onslaught from them so we need to dig in deep and break their spirit. Play like we did Wednesday then we can win this, play like we usually do in the PL away from home and it'll be a miserable night.

Would love to see the same effort and never say die attitude we showed when down to ten men in the last game.

Think we may go with the same formation as Wednesday night as grew into the formation and tactics. Swap out the front three though. I’d keep Ramsey and Sandro in the middle and use Bruno if absolutely required. Who they playing wide left at the moment? Gakpo?

Pretty much this but I would like Willock to be given another chance purely to try and get a bit of momentum with him as long as he isn't gassed from the effort. I am sure Wednesday would have been a big confidence builder for him and if he can deliver another good performance we could get something like the old Willock back.

Howay the lads! Will be watching this in Poland with this missus. She's expecting a night of cocktail bars and fine dining. Instead she's getting Chelsea/West Ham and Liverpool/Toon and £2.50 pints.

I'm pretty sure the system they played against PSG was specifically designed for that opponent and I doubt it's something we'll see all that often. We'll see though, maybe I'm wrong.

That right hand side is going to be really weak for Liverpool defensively.

They played Szoboszlai RB against us at SJP earlier this season and still beat us, like. Granted Gordon got himself sent off so there were mitigating circumstances.

I’d actually fancy us more if Frimpong was playing there tbh

I was there when Mirandihna scored a penalty and we won 1-2. I think we were relegated that year. Got chased after the game. Fella hid me in his newsagents until the coast was clear.

Down those sidestreets outside Anfield ? The regular, picking on smaller groups when they have them outnumbered. Its the Liverpool way.

Edit...... John Hendrie got the other iirc

Into these perpetual victim, perm and shellsuit wearing, phlegm hurling trauma junkies and their disabled rat striker, let's stick it to the media sycophants and hear them begrudgingly congratulate us. INTO THEM!!

Howe loves the three CBs when Big Joe is crocked.

When was the last time we won there in the league? So I remember a Bobby win?

Closest I remember under Robson was going to bed 2 nowt down in a huff whilst listening on the radio.

Got up for school the next morning and checked teletext to see we'd drawn 2-2

Shearer equalised iirc

Great game that. Speed got the equaliser and I'm sure we were 2-0 down with 10-15 left.

It'd be poetic justice like imo.
