LOL

Boehly learning at least (last). Instead of waiting till they establish at Brighton and pay through the nose, now just go after their targets instead.

And then farm them off to Strasbourg.

PIF have given the green light to push on with this deal according to Ryder.

PIF have to give a green light over a £24mil signing? Just let those you have enpowered to run the club get on with it

like, we can get exercised about chelsea (and, *nobody* despises the cartelisation of the prem more than me) blundering into "our" deal, but weren't we ourselves shoehorning into brighton's deal?

anyway, i like these early signs tbh. we may even have learned that the top top prem players aren't gonna come to us (because we aren't allowed to pay them as much as cartel clubs can, even though we could easily afford to do so), so jocky+ suds are being smarter

for anyone who's experiencing this as a wake up call that we can't sign the world's elite - talk about pressing snooze a few too many times! 😉

as has been discussed one or twice in other threads, it does seem like a pretty great strategy for us right now might be to be like a cuck club on steroids - all the smartness but also ready and willing to splurge within the constraints.

the fact is that the cartel can only sign so many players! and even with all those players, and all that money, and even with their stupid co-owned clubs, they still struggle to get it right on the pitch! (what kind of cartel ends up with one member 10th and the other 17th?!?)

so while there will definitely be some frustrations this summer, i feel like we already seem way better than we did last summer (low bar, i know)

Sources indicate former Chelsea player and fellow Nigerian, Celestine Babayaro (now 32 years old), has been called in by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy to help sell the cub to Yohanna.

Babayaro also spent an uneventful time on Tyneside, but did leave the club holding the record of being the only player in the clubs history to wear a long sleeve shirt in every match they took part in.

I feels like every time another club comes to the table we’re just giving up. It’s probably not as straight forward as that, but it’s really frustating.

Thought that’s what everyone wanted? Never heard so much rubbish last summer about “pivoting”

Hallo, hallo, hallo, what’s going on here then ?

I think I’ve seen a scam like this before.

Twatter goes into overdrive in an attempt to create a bidding war.

Why do you do this to yourselves lads & lasses.

Just buy a hair shirt and wear that all summer instead. It’ll be less painful than flagellating yourselves about wank Twatter transfer links that never happen.

🚨 Zadok Yohanna Here We Go! Wonderkid from AIK has agreed to terms with BlueCo Holding Company!

💵 Deal agreed at €30m + €5m addons with RC Strasbourg paying the fee

📜 Yohanna to be loaned to Chelsea for an undocumented fee with an undocument permanent clause

🇳🇬 The 18 year old from Nigeria only ever wanted Clearlake after several days of futile negotiations wasting everyone's time but driving up my clicks and creating a false bidding war!

📈 The future is bright for the youngster, many expect he will become a star at Chelsea (or was it Strasbourg?) before being left by the wayside

🇫🇷 Confidential sources (definitely not his agent) have revealed that Zadok has been a Chelsea Strasbourg BlueCo fan since 2026!

We should sell ourselves as a club that will give these types of players development time and then allow them to move on to bigger clubs in a few years like with Gordon. That’s how it will have to be until we are one of the big clubs or unless the related party rules change.
