Guest
For me at 90 minutes, that should either be it. Straight to penalties. Or if they insist on having the away goal rule, it should apply on even terms, after each team has had 90 minutes home advantage and to score the away goals. Incognito
Or like I said, if they insist on the away goal rule, both teams should have equal time, not one team having 90 minutes & the other getting 120. Should either be away goals after 90 minutes like in European competition, or like has been said, pens straight after the 90 if away goals don't count. Not the 'it doesn't count after 90 but does after extra time' crap. I have some sympathy with this, but nobody is making the obvious point that the home team get an extra 30 minutes at their home ground, in front of their own fans. It doesn't seem a totally unreasonable trade-off. Who's to say though, that if Man Utd had 120 minutes at the SoL, they wouldn't have scored again? Because they're shite? Sifu
Other fans criticising your views on your own club without knowing the full story of what's going on behind the scenes. I recently spoke to my Man U supporting mate about how I can't see any sort of progression from us and his response was that if we were 15th/16th, we would be crying out for our current position (which is true tbf) and that we shouldn't be complaining as such. Excuse me for questioning our ambition/future plans...
Neil
If you were 16th, you would want to be higher. Try to argue that one. Checkmate.

Yorkie
Its right, like. I get called fickle and clueless for saying Pardew's a poor manager. He got us fifth, you know.

Beren
Sick of being told Ben Arfa's shite from fans of other clubs. He's got the same rep as a punk like Adel Taraabt outside of our fans I'd imagine The credit Pardew gets for his man-management(!) of him is some Keyzer Soze-style trickery shit  The ongoing mind-boggling tragedy. jdckelly
Sick of being told Ben Arfa's shite from fans of other clubs. as with anything in life the truth lies between 2 extremes, he isn't shite thats obvious. However he does tend to get fairly overrated on here especially the longer he isn't in the team.
jdckelly
This isn't so much because of Cabaye but more inspired by Cabaye, why in gods name do most clubs wait til the last minute to do transfer business? Makes no sense whatsoever as you end up overpaying especially if you end up desperate on deadline day.

I just feel his ability and potential to impact games can be overstated, not a major thing or anything just my own general opinion. Would I rather he was in the team sure but for me its not as big a deal as is generally thought.

Yorkie
That little voice in the back of my head that still has hope for Newcastle Ashley and that won't be here forever. I just hope the fanbase hasn't been totally disillusioned with the sport by the time that moment comes.
Nobody
People saying "it doesn't matter how much we get for Cabaye". It's obvious as fuck that Ashley doesn't want to spend a penny on us, of course it bloody matters how much we get for him.

nobby_solano
Transfer windows and our owner and our manager. Yep, Ashley/Kinnear/Pardew are sucking the enjoyment out of football and NUFC for me. I can see the rest of the season being exactly like tonight's match and petering out into nothingness, similar to the remainder of the 94-95 season after we sold Cole. I'm looking forward to the World Cup though
