Scoreboard82
Remember when the fans in the 80s would customise those white butchers coats and wear them in the Gallowgate? Big magpie drawn on the back in black marker pen .
nbthree3
Maybe that's a metaphor for Ashley's Newcastle. Papering over the cracks... then papering over those papers when they crack too!

NE27
Even the fan mural has had enough and is leaving the club.
Stifler
I walked past on Saturday with a friend, the display was coming away from the and was splitting, rather like wallpaper peeling itself off the wall. It looked terrible.
gdm
A year ago and we’d all be getting excited that it somehow meant something for the takeover

It looked terrible. Yep, walked by it a few weeks ago and it was in a pretty bad way. There was also a door to Nine Bar which had been boarded up with plywood. The back of The Gallowgate is the first part of the stadium a lot of people see and it just looked abysmal, particularly with the club shop being vacant at the time. I know that the decrepit state of SJP has been discussed to death but it's just so sad to see the place in such an awful state.

Ben
I liked a few seasons ago when people were encouraged to post pictures of things that were wrong with the stadium, to shame the club into fixing them.

Tsunami
What’s the point of having any TVs if they’re not going to pay to show SKY or have their own hi-lights on them? They’ve put some new flooring down, we can all just stand and admire that at HT.

Wolfcastle
Wow -painted the walls at the training ground AND removed one of the dead pigeons snared in the stadium. Eat your heart out Leicester.
huss9
used to be a time when you would get in early to catch the end of the previous game and hear a few match reports whilst having a couple of pints before kick-off. at half-time you'd go down eager to watch the controversial incidents and goals from our first half. used to be great. bastards. That's a good point that, I bet the catering company that Ashley farmed the contract out to would like more effort put into the facilities to attract more fans before the match.
