Depends what the level of quality is of the players behind the likes of Pedro, Elanga, Trafford. If it's a fair drop off I don't see why we wouldn't pay the extra £15-20m to get them both Trafford and Pedro. I'm not convinced we really need Elanga at £60m, Pedro feels like someone who would benefit us more. We're probably already thinking of doing this, but a mix of cheaper European players and PL premium should hopefully be a good combination.

I agree. Very classless and I would be disappointed in the club if we go down that route. We're already competing, with two Champions League qualifications and two cup finals, winning one all in a space of 4 years and I think there's more to come. We'll get there, even if it takes a while and might be slower than we'd like, but anyone can see we're getting better every year, on and off the field. And we're still playing fair.

We've just finished 2nd in the points table for the final 3/4 of the season with a relatively weak squad. We can still compete whilst not being classless. Some things are more important.

They'll then use that money to sign Elanga probably.
