  1. Past hour
  2. I've not posted in this thread as, well it's a sign of the times and, I expected it would be in good taste. But fuck me, burn it all to the fucking ground if that is really what they are planning. It's fucking horrific.

Guehi is plenty comfortable on the left. Isn’t that where he has played mostly? For England at least.
  4. What do you have against JEEP VISIT DETROIT like m8? Turin 🤝 Detroit.

Guehi is the Schar replacement, surely? We’d need somebody who is comfortable playing on the left side.
  6. He'll be back better than ever next season. Not worried at all
  7. Hope the votes in the pfa player of the season award gets split between Liverpool players as I've got £5 on Isak at 66
  8. very interesting to hear specifically the bits of the crest that they think needs changing
  9. I mean fair enough, offside just seems like the odd one to pick out when it's one of the few things in football that's truly binary. We can argue about what advantage is or isn't gain, but players are either onside or they're not. Providing it's done right and quickly with automation it'll eventually ideally be like goal-line technology. Everything else is still always going to be subjective to a certain extent and cause controversy when VAR gets involved.
  10. Nuno for me,he's had Forest (one of the favourites to go down)near the top most of the season. Its only recently there's been a bit of a slide and they will qualify for one of the European competitions. A fabulous achievement. Slot came into a club with a ready made title challenging team so he's a no for me. Newcastle have lost to many games to mid level teams for my liking. We should have sewn up CL football before now. Bonus points for the cup win but making us wait until the last day of the season to see what European competition we end up in makes him a no for me. 3 Slot 2 Howe 1 Nuno
  11. If this was a season that was just another Man City win, it'd go to Nuno no question, but as it's Slot's first season and he has managed to win the league, it has to go to him really. I still think that title win feels underwhelming, and I can't really place why it feels that way, as it's a great achievement.
  12. Think that Juve one looks class personally. Mind you I always seem to like their kits and everyone else seems to hate them so I'm probably not the best judge.

Let's pray the scan is just precaution and he's ok. They'll not be taking any risks with him
  14. As nice as that would be…god could you imagine missing out on champions league football the first time we wear it

    Things that never happened!
  16. I'd give it to Postecoglu. Can't think of many managers who would have got Spurs to 17th. Impresive achievement.
  17. Lot of copium being smoked around here. As well run as our club is these days, the powers that be still have it in them to give us a rubbish badge. I'm worried.
  18. It’s fairly pointless having the award shortlist if it just always goes to the team that wins the league. Apart from Howe I would give it to Nuno just to spite the Forest owner.
  19. Yeah, I wouldn’t criticise what they’ve done in any way, I’d actually be very positive about it on the whole, but it still doesn’t really put them in the frame for me. It’s slightly odd season, in that you can be fairly complementary about the majority of managers in the league. Obviously Ange and Amorim have been catastrophic, Pep poor by his standards, Maresca iffy (although probably satisfactory enough IF they make CL), but everyone else bar the bottom three, you’d be happy with to varying degrees.
  20. But you also want rid of VAR altogether don't you? I'm at the point where I'd rather not have it than have it (altogether) because I think it's inherently flawed, but theoretically I can see the value in it being applied in limited scenarios. For instance, upgrading Jackson's yellow to a red because the on-field referee was unable to see, in real time, the severity of the offence is a very good use of VAR. But the inherent flaw is how an almost identical offence was missed the week before (Enciso on Tonali), or how an identical outcome was wrongfully applied the week prior (Evanilson v Man Utd). I've always been categorically against it on offsides and my view on that will never change.
