Yea, similar to some of the fans here. If a player got no heart and gone lazy, didn’t track back etc, he wouldn’t be frustrated by his own performance and hence got that red card and missed the crucial final, and disappointed like the end of the world. If he has attitude problems, he wouldn’t feel bad and hurt by those treatments during his last days at Everton. Some of the people here are just fucking ridiculous and I will never get shy to call these outs. Especially on Gordon case - you laughed at Everton? Now you are laughing at yourself then?

I'm not saying we're immune to being beaten in midfield. You absolutely didn't run over us in midfield at Old Trafford though, outside of the first 20 minutes. As soon as Mainoo came on for Zirkzee it was a different game. Also if I remember correctly both goals came down our right, from two crosses into the box. The 4-1 game, where we rested half the side because it was sandwiched between the two Lyon games, aye you absolutely did run over us in midfield that day.

Dubs got an extension in Feb so will be here next year.

Actually really like it, going from that video

So if Man City win today, their result vs Fulham doesn't matter to us from a top 5 perspective. It would only matter in terms of getting 3rd vs 4th (or 4th vs 5th should Chelsea somehow absolutely batter Forest).

Yes, it would be great for Newcastle to win UEL, but not for Manchester United. Do you think with that expenditure and with those expectations winning Europa League gets you far? As far as I remember, you won it a while back and it didn't get Jose far... You seem to think like mediocrity would be enough, and maybe winning UEL or Carabao once in a while. You are one of the richest clubs in the world, winning (or even being in) UEL is a shame. It should be participated by clubs like Newcastle, Tottenham and Villa. And being "mental" about criticizing Garnacho: he has 6 goals this season in EPL. Of those 11g 10 a, 3g 3a in League cup against Barnsley and Leicester. 6 EPL goals puts you level with players like Rashford, Marmoush (half a season, Smith Rowe, Enzo (defensive midfielder) and Kovacic (DM). Hardly a great stat for someone with 36 appereances for ManU. He is winger whose only way to go past player is to run faster. I don't criticise Mainoo's performances, but the truth is he hasn't had a great season, and selling him now is not wise. Garnacho either won't be sold for 50-60 million like he was rumoured last year. They both, and your club, has had a bad season. That affects the price they move for. I don't want to start with Höjlund, because he is a championship level player at the moment. Dalot at least seems to try, but he is not a wing back. For the bold part: There is that one guy in Barcelona I hear who is pretty good. Even in the league Minteh who probably didn't know English before the season is doing better. Gordon is not an 80 million player, but he has had a bad season and has scored as many as Garnacho, while playing less. I am not responsible for what fans think, they always overvalue their own players.

Eddie is on record as saying he likes a certain number of keepers in his keeper pool for training purposes. That’s probably one too many this season because of Vladdy, but that is what it is. Gillespie is paid to be part of that pool, at a higher standard than a junior could provide, albeit obviously not really that near the level of the main guys. He also, it seems from looking from the outside, appears to be a popular member of the squad, that adds to squad togetherness, which Eddie values. Given his wages a likely to be fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of PSR, there seems little point in peddling him until his level starts to drop, he no longer wants to do it, or we get a kid coming through with a genuine chance of making it.

Does he ? If it's that apparent then the manager must have noticed. Perhaps he's giving him a free pass on workrate ?
-
Semi unrelated but my wife heard Milenkovic being discussed on MNF and exclaimed, "my lengthy itch?"

If relegation wasn’t enough yet Chelsea continue to take the piss!
-
They'd want too much money and his wages would be too high for what he'd likely offer us based on his performances for MU.
-
Gazza in Starbucks in the Metrocentre. He's looking well.
-
Alexis Mac Allister's dad looking like the whitest man that's ever lived but that's some team he played in
-
He's a fantastic talent imo. He's better developed than Miley and younger and he also a fantastic talent.
-
Gordon is a great player, we should be building with him involved. He often seems quite brooding or moody, I put that down to frustration with his own performance.
-
so barnes isnt a shit signing anymore? lets play scapegoat of the week.
-
We have ran you over in midfield tice this season but we've ran over better midfield's than yours tbf
-
It doesn't. It's a lazy comparison to the side under Ten Hag when the midfield was hopelessly exposed and Casemiro was being asked to sprint up and down the pitch as a lone DM. That just isn't the case under Amorim. The midfield is much more compact. The exposure in this system is coming from the wings, not central midfield. Dalot isn't a good enough wing back and Dorgu is extremely raw. That combined with a striker who doesn't score = a lot of defeats.

I think Wolves @ 7/4 might be a canny bet for tonight, hopefully Bournemouth can do to Man City what they did to us at home.
-
Levels above Dubravka and undoubtedly a top keeper but he did go through a spell after his injury where he looked a bit dodgy. Looks back on form now but I still don't think he is the same player he was two years ago.
-
Same. We got hacked two and a half weeks back and I have so much to catch up on. But I can't even contemplate working properly ATM.
-
I'm in London on Sunday on the piss. So our game better be on Sky. Or I'll be sat watching it on my phone somewhere. City are still going to be involved. So they could put their game on instead of ours, I suppose. I think Forest v Chelsea is nailed on to be one of the games, the same as Liverpool.
