  1. Past hour
  2. Liverpool will still want to win their remaining games, they can finish on 94 points which would be the highest points tally for champions since they last won it, and would put to bed the criticism that they've won the league by default.
  3. I don't think Rashford is ever getting back to his best. At Villa he was still doing similar stuff to what he was doing at Man Utd - difference being Villa are a much better side. His overall performance there was alright, nowt special when you look beyond the headlines. He had one or two excellent performances out of 14 appearances. At his best he seemed to be putting in those types of performances more regularly.
  4. Liverpool winning the league so early was always going to be bad news. I had Chelsea and Villa missing out a week ago but now I think it’s Forest and Villa. Still getting to 68 points should be enough regardless. Maybe 69 at a push as Chelsea’s GD is on par with us. Beating Chelsea has always been imperative. We need the Chelsea and Forest game to matter for both sides. If either Forest or Chelsea already have 69 we are in trouble
  5. Lumped on Willock to be carded 6/1..Good value.
  6. If we ignore the money aspect of it for a moment I genuinely think Howe could get Rashford playing to his best but the best of Rashford is on the left and we are more than fine in that position

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I do think Rashford can still be an excellent player in the right setup, as shown at Villa. But that setup is absolutely not Eddie Howe’s Newcastle.
  8. Weekend downer treble just under 9/1 Brighton Villa Chelsea
  9. It's in our hands. No need to threat what others do or don't do. If we don't make it we didn't deserve too.
  10. They have a pretty good squad tbf, and no way Salah doesn’t play.

    sunderland

Fell in a barrel of shit and came out looking like that. Oh and the irony of what's written at the bottom of his muffin top. 😆
  12. I imagine winning the cup and the winners shirt put this back a bit.
  13. I can't decide what I like best.... That FTM is the centrepiece of the entire design Or he's got the VAX vacuum cleaner logo

    Joe Willock

Miley looks more impressive every time I see him. That run he had in the team at the age of 17, he played it safe, kept it neat but didn't really show anything exceptional. Right now he looks twice the player Longstaff is and has end product to his game, which is something Willock sadly doesn't. He should be getting more minutes.
  16. He's not big in the USA but is getting bigger and his recent tour was theatres and small arenas. He was in the 2nd tier of the line up at Coachella He's very big in the UK, not just the North East. He's sold out West Ham's ground next month and that's 80,000 people He's quite big in Europe and sold out 5-10,000 capacity venues on his recent tour He's intertwined with NUFC because he's a geordie lad and Newcastle fan. As are most of his band And also his rise in popularity has coincided with our takeover and the new found positivity surrounding the club And we writes songs about the reality of life on Tyneside
  17. Brother saw him last week in Denver 5k venue. Said if it wasn’t sold out it was close as it was chocka. Loads of NUFC shirts as well
  18. He did Coachella, and is doing another round of big US festivals with some massive headliners. Im going to the one in Nashville - headlined by Kings of Leon and John Mayer.
  19. Spurs supporting workmate not too confident this morning, 3 of their best players to come back and a plastic pitch to deal with
  20. Forest losing to brentford is massive I reckon, I could see them getting maybe 7 points from their remaining games (draw to palace away, lose to Chelsea, win the other two) which puts them on 67 but their gd is pretty bad. Especially with forest playing Chelsea it means we now have more potentially paths to 5th (I'll be honest before I had ruled out first missing out completely). I'm staring to think 67 points may be enough, so like a draw to Brighton and Chelsea, then a win against Everton for example. That does still ride on villa not winning every one of their remaining games mind.
