  1. Past hour
  2. Nkunku will probably end up at Arsenal on loan or knockdown price when they yet again fail to sign a proper striker the silly cunts
  3. The ultimate summer football experience
  4. It’s what’s holding them up going all in on JP I’d imagine. Hence we probably need to act fast.
  5. Is Nkunku linked somewhere? Just assumed he'd command a big fee as he he has ages left and wasn't cheap (I think) as well as being disappointing while here
  6. I imagine Jackson will be pretty cool with 5 players coming in to replace him, seems like a level headed type.
  7. Goodbye Football, my old friend
  8. Same way as it did under Potter. Too many egos who will kick off, because there'll be even less minutes to appease players.
  9. Makes no difference they have unlimited funds and players Loopholes innitttt
  10. I he wants to come then fantastic, he's got a great season to look forward to with amazing supporters and quality team-mates. If he doesn't then the scruffy cunt can fuck off and fall down the same drug ridden hole Mudryk has, fuckin wanker.
  11. Speculation, but even if so that would be a stupid decision. We can’t afford to forego top talent going for reasonable fees because they want an out in case things don’t work out and a bigger club comes calling. In Dean Huijsen’s case Bournemouth had a very good defender in their ranks and tripled their money inside a year. It was definitely a gamble worth taking at the time. Besides, what’s to say such players don’t come to appreciate our club and may stay for years. After all, we’re a club going places and a great place to play football at the moment. If he’d come here and with us qualifying for CL and winning a cup, there’d be every chance he’d be willing to stay on and perhaps even renegotiate terms. We’d be handicapping ourselves massively if we would insist that players can’t have release clauses.
  12. And all they've done is replace their best player. Who knows if he's better.
  13. Botafogo kit is simple but lovely.
  14. No doubt still twists and turns still left in this deal but in defence of JP he agreed to come to us 2-3yrs ago and we sacked the deal off for Isak so if he’s pivoted last minute to Chelsea we can’t cry about it. As disappointing it would be. I’m not that surprised as the sensible noises seemed to suggest Chelsea would pounce once a fee was agreed. Let’s see how it plays out.

Why’s it become a thing with these fuckin weirdos that they’ve apparently beaten us to every signing they’ve made including the sporting director. Can’t believe anyone wanted this lot back up. They are fuckin insufferable
  16. Al Nassr want Luis Diaz for £100M
  17. Early days of the market have shown shopping for Premier League proven players is tough. There are clubs with far deeper pockets and more trophies in the cabinet buying up the same players. Our best work to date has come "buying the dip" abroad, buying young, unproven players or raiding relegated clubs. I admire the ambition and don't feel "embarrassed" we've missed out on a few players, but we need to trust our talent ID a bit more until we're in a PSR position to flex our financial muscle. I hope that missing out on s few of these players sees us going down that road.
  18. Never got this thing about London...what exactly is it that you can do there that you cant do at any major city? As someone pointed out earlier, its not like pro footballers are going for clubs and nights out anymore, everywhere (almost) has very good restaurants, and as for shopping....if footballers or their wives want high class stuff, they arent going to be wandering down high streets to get it, even if it is Harrods. Also if youre making more in a week than most people make in a few years, whats stopping you from dropping into london at any time you want? Even i can do a day trip to London on the train for a few hundred quid on the debacle of public transport
  19. Elanga would be in addition to JP they play different positions. playing with a hard working 10 we play in much the same way but with more control imo. Lots of ways to slice it imo.
  20. Sky tried all that stuff from the outset and give up not for no reason. The sky strikers and all that, Nick Collins the pitchside reporter, as Des Lynam put it years later about 'the guy on the touchline that goes "yeah he's injured"
  21. Interesting to see how Chelsea manage their squad now they are in the CL. there’s no second string European truant to play the second team.
  22. All true - but I just don’t see us playing with a 10. Our two man midfield would likely be overrun given the way Howe likes to play; it could mean that we’re changing style of course, but the Elanga bid suggest to me that this isn’t happening.
  23. Nkunku is on his way and they don’t give a flying fuck about Dewsbury-Hall, he’ll be dispensed for whatever new shiny toy comes their way.
