I was at this game. The venom started after Blackburns first goal, from a drop ball in the area - after Speedie slid in late on our keeper injuring him. This should have been a free kick, our keeper had pssession of the ball. Speeie then scored in the second half and ran in front of us and gestured. A most foul man - even my wife was shouting abuse at him.

Having seen Swansea play several times in the last two years and my neighbour being an avid fan, I am somewhat biased, but Martinez is a very competent manager who encourages his teams to play fooball. Whether he is good enough will never be found out here, as there are so many obsessed with the BIG CLUB senario. We are a fotball club like any other, being a dumping ground for worn out stars is not the route to success. Lets face it even when Gordon Lee turned the club around, he was vilified for selling our STAR, but not honoured for his success. Will it ever change? Not in my lifetime unfortunately. Joe Kinnear is OUR manager ffs - his track record of BIG CLUB SUCCESS speaks for itself. We are where we are and have got what we deserve.

Vargas used to play left back for my other team Universitario in Lima. He played for them for a couple of seasons, when the club had severe cashflow problems, and the quality around him was poor. However, he was a cracking player, who had loads of natural ability, was technically excellent. His down sides were that he is not blessed with pace, and would often get caught out at the back after a surging run forward. I do remember one abslute blinder he scored from left backmaking a great run wide left, playing a 1-2 with I think Alva and volleying in from the edge of the box into the top right hand corner. I was right behind this and was up in the air as he shot - and against the mackems of Lima (Alianza)! He originally left for Argentina and then to Italy. he has always so far made the step up.

Firstly we are all (directors and fans) in a state of flux, now is the time to put differences to one side and all pull together. In all difficulties in businesses between two sides there is an element of truth in both sides of the arguement. The key issue is not who was correct, but how we are all going move forward from here? The directors and many of the fans (Who are stakeholders in this business - and extremely important ones at that) need to work together. I personally feel that this statement is aimed at being devisive rather than cohesive. As a stakeholder in a business and a MD of my own I to aliemnated my customer base seems rather strange, especially as football fans are rather more passionate about the business than other market areas. The directors and the publiucity officers need to be workiung over time to put at least some positive spin on this for EVERYONES sake. Secondly the FACTS stated sound and read like some petulant school boy who has misread an exam question and is finding blame with somene else. This methodology will do nothing to engender unity within the club. We are called Newcastle United not for nothing. Newcastle may or may not be a big club, but one thing is certain we do hold a unique position in the local community where the club is supported by so many (ages, sexes etc). Will the attitude of these directors set us back? I think so. Finally we are all fans of the club, and most of us have been for all our lives (win, lose or draw) and will be hopefully for long into the future. If we want to protest can we do so in a manner that is both original, hardhitting, but not detrimental to the club. What about 10 minutes silence at the start of the match for the loss of our manager (regardless of what happens on the pitch) followed by the passion that was there for JKeegans first ever game as our manager (if you can remember this)

I remember a few years ago a German team protesting against smething (and am totally unsure what), but they announced before the game that they would come to the game and turn their backs on the match and stand in silence for 13 minutes (I am sure that this had some relevance), and then turn around and sing. If say this was for 8 minutes (1 minute of Keegans tenure) it would have a very profound effect, and those who would not wish to boycott could still be involved. We would all be UNITED.

Like many of you I too have anumber of players that have played for the toon that I despise for various reasons. John Barnes - utter w**k stated when signing that we could move forward by playing the ball backwards. Talentless and uninspirational. Ian Rush - maangers pal and buddy played wide as much threat on goal as I have. Mark Stimson - so one dimensional is was untrue - could only play one ball - long down the wing - on reflection I did enjoy abusing him at games so this is a two edged sword. Carr - hated him at spurs, so talentless here I know Sourness never played for us, but I to have him as our manager was the delight of all opposition fans Of our current crop Smudge Smith Leeds Fan - says it all - utter violent scum and Mark Viduka lethargic to a tee. There are others, but most only played the odd game here or there - never keen on Bowyer (same reason as Smith - but at least he did put in the effort)

I like many others here hate spurs with a vengence, being an anti-fan (ie supporting any team that plays against them). This goes back a long time. I think that it started when waddle left and was reinforced when gazza left (and they and their manager claimed they had truned gazza into a world class player overnight - when he had almsot single-handedly kept us in Div 1 the previious season - this still rankles me). Then a cup match I attended in the mid 80s, when they oversold tickets to us, forcing many into overcrowded paddocks. I remeber a young lad infront of me being crushed. Many kids were passed over the heads of us towards the pitch, and some climbed on to the picth to try to get in an empty paddock next to us. All the time coins and bottles were raining onto us from these scum fans. Next day all the papers were full of stories of geordies rioting - nothing could be further from the truth. And we lost.

aldershot town are making enquiries How exactly would this work? The shots have a young, fast, team who play for each other. Their vision and passing this season has been incredible. Oh yes and they are successful. Gary Waddock is a young manager who likes to keep the ball on the deck. Why would he want to get players who have no ability? I suggest that you ocassionally go and watch lower league football

I cannot believe the small minded people who castigate others for supporting their team because they do not come from the hinterland of the club. Like it or not Premier League football is a global enterprise and as such it is imperative that the ton attract and hold on to as many 'foreign/southern' fans as possible. These wil only add to the revenue of the club and help build for success. Expansion is our answer and we should welcome all new fans with open arms as they help provide a financial base for the club. The arguement of only supporting your local club is facile in that many people today are locationally mobile, as the worlds job markets have opened up. Once you are a supporter you remain that way through thick and thin (usually very thin). When we move do we stop supporting our team and support the local team instead? I moved to the toon at the age of eight (I still support passionately my first ever team - Aldershot), but twenty years of living in the North East makes it impossible to not support the toon too with a passion. And by the way I have also lived in Zambia where I was a season ticket holder of Power Dynamoes, and was also had a box in Lima to watch the mighty La U (Universatario). It is possible to support other teams and also live outside the region and support the toon.

Not sure what I think about this one the heart says we will roll them over, but the teamwork is just not there at the moment. it loks like we are having probs with personel with the Zog blowin a fuse and Roz having a tantrum and storming off. Still little Mickey has been so por recently, so surely with the England team being wittled dwn, he will have to have a good game. But where are the chances coming from. Being a central midfielder in a failing and losing team will not ensure he keeps his place. We have only lost out, as there are no central defenders other than Faye better than him at the club. Scapegoat foreigner as always. I liked the comparison earlier with G. Pallister crucified in his first season and became a stalwart and legend. Oh, for a little bit of patience rather than knee jerk reactions. No doubt he will now go on and have a great Euro 2008. I cannot understand the preoccupation with the defenders as scapegoats, surely as so many fail here the reasons for this could be outside their ability (anyone thought of the poor quality of defensive coaching), especially as so many of the errors made by our back 4 re positioning seem so basic. I also think that the problem lies in our persistent manner of hoofing the ball to our little forwards who are unable to hold the ball up, and our midfield who are always going to ground leaving the defense uncovered. These are all basic footballing errors that would be evident in a sunday league team coached by the local retard.

Sorry mate but you obviously don't have a full grasp on the Dennis Wise history and have some bias. Even on the basis just of the Swindon fact which is that he had them first place by a clear way which is a damn site better than just not getting relegated. And Poyet didn't just become his assistant this season, he was Wise's assistant since Swindon. Does this mean that Wise gets the blame for the relegation and Poyet gets the credit for the good form? Like i said you seem biased. Well I may be biased, but re Swindon both Poyet and Wise left in Oct 2006 from Swindon to Leeds yes swindon were doing well then (but didnt we have our best start to a season in Oct 2007 and that did not make BSA a good manager in anyones eyes). It is impossible to judge the quality of a team by Oct due to the lottery of the fixture lists. My blood is still boiling, if Wise arrives and makes a success I will not only swim the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic Oceans but also swim up the Tyne from here in Peru. Well Cahill i good in certain areas of thepitch> I d not think that he is the ort of player that would be favoured here. If BSA was till here Cahill would be an excellent addition, but as we are supposedly heading for free flowing football I do not think he is an option. So I rat him for certain jobs if you see what I mean

I am sorry supertoon but I have to disagree with you on your comments. Got Milwall to the FA Cup Final (Yes he did and well done for that) and near play offs (no they were not, they never were in a position to seriously challenge) had some very good players like Cahill (perhaps if you think Cahill is a very good player) did well at his short time at swindon (in what sense? dfidnt get them relegated true)and has took leeds near promotion despite 15 point deduction - no he took them to relegation, even his captain wanted to leave playing some of the worst football played at Elland road in the last 40 years. Poyet comes in and things make an improvement. I will concede that Wise chose Poyet and should take the credit for this. Leeds form since Poyet has left has been relegation form. Now if we are looking at ayne from Div 1 Martinez must be an option - low budget, great team ethic,always is positive and by all accounts are playing football on the deck with movement (this is almost unheard of in this division)

Not much gets my blood boiling, but this does to such an extent. Wise has no football ability. Those who think he has done a good job at Leeds yeah you are right he took them down playing awful football (only good to Leeds haters), only the professionalism of Poyet has made a difference his season,and guess what as soon as Poyet leaves what happens - you cannot make this up Basset comes in and their form has been relegation form since. To those who say he is a good coach WTF Poyet was the coach Not Wise. I cannot believe this nor can I believe that Kev would be that destructive towards us. Wise is a throw back to the bad old days of rut one football (and havent we all realised that that was no good).
