Was that Ron Jeremy in the crowd?

I like angry Barnes

Compared to Brentfords passing we're prime galacticos out there.

Livramento in cup final mode will keep Mbuemo quiet. Burn is 3x Wissa's height and they have two donkeys in defence that Isak can twist like pretzels. 5-0.

Amorim taking to english football like a fly to shit. Beautiful sub putting Maguire up top to lead the line.

Not only did he stay here to get us promoted, he got us promoted while drilling a side he knew would be limited in the PL into a system that would make us hard to beat and dangerous on the counter against tougher opposition. Had we gone for a more attacking strategy against lesser opponents while in the championship, I'm not sure that group of players would have managed to stay up.

Don't got much sympathy for morons that simply can't shut up to the press. Don't want characters like that here. We all know like, but show some professionalism and keep it in house.

Are the Bournemouth fans singing "you're just a shit Andy Carroll" to Haaland....?

Quansah is 22, so should be starting to get regular game time in his preferred position if he wants to develop. If Van Dijk stays longer at Liverpool I guess there's a good chance he'll seek other opportunities as he'll struggle to get ahead of him and Konate. Whether he's good enough to command a starting spot at RCB for us i don't know. Haven't seen enough of him in that position. He seems to have the pace we've been screaming for in that position at least, and for a CB he seems very good with the ball in his feet. If our people want him, and he wants to come here then I'm all for it.

Rigg is 17 and one of the most highly rated young'uns in the country, while Clarke is/was 23 with no prior PL experience. Big difference. £37m incl. potential future add-ons isn't that far fetched.

Whats the fuss about? I assume there's many 12-13 years old Newcastlefans as well that are dreaming of signing a couple of Liverpools best players too.

6 subs and Isak plays the entire, lets be honest, pointless, game. Choke on a potato Tomasson.

This bus stuff is proper weird. We're sponsored by a company that specializes in hosting events, I'm sure they have something amazing planned, and people are crying that they might not be able to see the players in an open top bus? Some people just gagging to complain about anything.

Collins is the next Bramble. Generally plays very well, but will cost you quite a lot of points over a season due to dumb mistakes/lapses in concentration. No thanks.
-
To be fair, it's fairly simple to manage the work load of a squad when you're only competing domestically. Season we finished 4th without him was very similar to this injury wise. His real value will be proven next season, provided we at the very least qualify for conference league via the play-off.

You do a lot of growing up from 16 to 19. Wouldn't worry too much about whether he can handle a move or not. If he wants to go and accepts a contract he's most likely thought it through extra hard considering his past.

Receiving likes on posts 50+ pages back two days after the game is a first I think. People still seemingly going through the entire match thread

Literally had nothing left to give when he came off. That walk after his cramp before he got subbed Great game and great assist.
-
Thought he played well on Monday against West Ham too, so it wasn't surprising that he did well today as well. Even taking away what he did footballing wise, simply by being on the pitch with his "aura" and experience in lack of better words really helped us today.

There's a good argument for this. I normally hate to play players out of position, but it seems easier for him to dribble from the left. With peace and love his technique, vision and passing isn't very good anyway so it's not a huge blow that he has to cross with his weaker foot. 1v1 defending which is his primary asset is probably easier against inverted left wingers too.

Mr. Newcastle

Dared to take on players, and clearly learnt from last game to continue his run and have a go at a cross despite it being on his weaker foot. Fantastic performance. Burn covering Salah nicely when Livramento pushed further up too, so he didn't keep him quiet all alone.
