Jonas dropped his steak on the floor and Harper went to reach it, but by the time he got down it was too late.

He contradicts himself in the first twenty seconds!! "You can't sack a manager with only a handful of games to go, I think it's ludicrous... You only have to look down the road at sunderland, and Di Canio brought in in the last minute and he's managed to string a couple of decent results together" Only thing ludicrous about sacking Pardew is that we didn't do it sooner.

Look at our last european campaign under Roeder, we played more games than this season, we had a much worse injury record that year and yet we finished 13th with Roeder resigning after a 'poor' league showing.

"We had no fixture during the week so we was probably just lacking the match fitness you get with playing games". -

When are they going to apologise for the embarrassing scenes on the pitch? -
I would like to see your ratings when we actually play some good football Might have to revise them in the morning, haha!. But in all seriousness, i thought allthough we created little in terms of clear cut chances, we worked very hard tonight and ground out a tremendous result.

Elliot 8, Did what he did well, like his distribution. Santon 8, Defended well got forward well, just his final ball let him down. MYM 8, Composed and defended well, gave the ball away cheaply once which could have cost us. Taylor 10, Fantastic game from Tayls, blocked, tackled and passed it very well tonight. MOTM. Haidara 8, Same as Santon. Tiote 7, Tenacious as always, but too often was caught in possesion. Cabaye 6, Went off too early to give a proper mark. Anita 7, Kept it ticking over nicely and showed decent feet at times. Marveaux 9, Our biggest attacking threat, always willing to take players on and his ball in was superb. Sissoko 8, Love his lung-busting runs from deep, also tracked back well. Cisse 8, Another quiet game, but worked hard and got his reward. Subs: Jonas 9, Played really well i thought, kept the ball well and defended well as per. Campbell 7, Looked lively and a willing runner.

This, but swap Port Vale for Millwall.

Barnsley in 2001, Craig Bellamy scored in a 1-0 win. Then my first home game was in 2004 against Valarenga, we won 3-1.

http://www.c2com.up.pt/blog/quarto-arbitro/arquivos/sousa3731.jpg Edson Rolando Silva Sousa (pictured here in a friendly against Nottingham Forest) was signed by Frank Arnesen for PSV after impressing for the Portugese youth team. This Cape Verdian who started out in Switzerland played 1 game for PSV before leaving to join Spurs aged 21 in 2004. He left less than a year later having never left the bench bar a loan spell at Ado Den Haag where he scored three times in seven games. Upon his release from Spurs he played for Egyptian club Zamalek, then CS Maratimo and Estrala in Portugal before leaving for Romania in 2007, first for UTA Arad and then Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt via a trial in Finland with TPS.

Of course, but surely we hadn't pinned all our hopes on one striker, there must have been a few we looked at.

Delighted, 9/10. Not for one second did i think we would sign a centre back with the quality of Mbiwa. Really pleased with the signings of Sissoko and Debuchy and happy we got Gouffran. Only thing that could have made it better would have been a striker, but i can forgive us for not signing one considering the other deals.

Is asking for an out-and-out striker a bit cheeky?

Laudrup, Martinez or Adkins.Although realistically it would end up being someone like Steve Cotterill or George Burley.

Didn't see the game or listen to it so I don't know if we deserved more or less, but on the face of it I would class this as a building block and a solid platform. We needed a clean sheet and we got one and so that should provide a good confidence boost ahead of the next few games. Onwards and upwards!

Would go with Jonas until the end of the season and then see if we can buy a leader.
