Interpolic
Don't think anyone is saying there's a problem like, it's been pretty bland so far though IMO. Plus there are the issues with the club wanting to control every bit of media coverage ever.
Mattoon
I don't care what he does, it's positive that they're trying to reach out and have some dialect, however I don't feel that the real issues will get spoken about, but it's a start. Right now, it's more important we get the right players in and out of the club, create a footballing philosophy and start winning some matches. He says the right things, let's see them in practice. Interpolic
The communication thing has always been more of an issue when the shit hits the fan, in which case the club are always either silent or they come out with a few bitchy comments about the press being nasty to them. Reading about coaching methods and the like is a nice enough development but we'll see what their communication is like when real questions are being asked. DJ_NUFC
I'm loving these Dear John type of travel diary entries sent via emails. I look forward to getting the dirt on how Willo hilariously slipped and broke his leg near the pool, rendering him unpickable for the rest of the year, and how Obertan one day simply kept running, a la Forrest Gump, and hasn't returned since. Dan Gleebals
Get Mitrovik and Mbemba in and I might just start believing there is some truth in his comments about the plans he had seen as being exciting.

Astroblack
Is Ayoze not 100%? Just curious why he's been coming off the bench and not starting.
Disco
Is Ayoze not 100%? Just curious why he's been coming off the bench and not starting. McClaren had some dodgy tapas on holiday in Tenerife and isn't prepared to let it go yet.
relámpago blanco
Probably doesnt rate him. If this is the case I will never back him.
mrmojorisin75
If I was being overly critical of the guy I'd argue that he's taking the classic English manager track of starting the 'established' players because they're 'experienced' and only when they fail (because they're shit) will be turn to lads like Ayoze. The Pardew method if you will. Really hope I'm wrong but unless they're unfit Aarons and Perez should be starting games and people like De Jong, Obertan and Gouffran should be the ones earning their places. Guest
Lumping De Jong in with those two is a bit mad given Aarons' injury record wasn't that much better last season.
Guest reefatoon
It's been annoying that he pretty much picked the same team for the last two games. Hope he mixes it up a bit for the next one, we really don't need to see how s*** Williamson, Colback, Anita, Gouffran and Obertan are again.
U2
Teams are picked according to fitness levels at this stage. Hopefully our better players are in contention tomorrow morning.

Lenny
We could actually be in a fortunate position this season where we don't need to absolutely cane the life out of Perez, and let him develop with little pressure on him. The football fan in me wants to see him play at every opportunity, mind.

He'd be rightfully gutted not to be first choice imo.
Mole_Toonfan
If Perez is going to start like he should then he'll have to start on the wing all things considered. Last season De Jong was hardly there and we didn't have Mitrovic, so based on that you are either replacing Sissoko or a left winger. ( which should be Aarons)
