Andy84
They haven't even had the balls to release a statement, just a pathetic club insider leaking a message of "business as usual" to a few journalists
Ronaldo
They obviously want rid and are just waiting to get some sort of decision from a third party before they pull the trigger, like.
JH
FWIW, Luke Edwards is still adamant that McClaren will be sacked eventually.
Fenham Mag
This is the most frustrating thing ever. Why is Ashley just sitting losing millions?

Jesse Pinkman
This is the most frustrating thing ever. Why is Ashley just sitting losing millions? He probably still thinks there's a chance we will stay up, 10 games etc.
JH
This is the most frustrating thing ever. Why is Ashley just sitting losing millions? Because once again he has put the power into the hands of people who: a) Don't have a clue b) Would rather save themselves/their own face, at the expense of us going down
geordiedean
FWIW, Luke Edwards is still adamant that McClaren will be sacked eventually. Probably the end of may
Big Geordie
Charnley doesn't want to sack McClaren, as he would have to resign too. That's what this is all about. The longer it drags on, the bigger fools the owner, and his puppets will look. National media certainly going for it since the weekend.
TRon
I'll be truly amazed if McClaren is still here by the time the Leicester fixture rolls round. He's gone as far as I'm concerned.
Leazes_End_Mag
Ashleys an intelligent man and it doesn't take a whole lot to figure out that we have no chance of staying up with McClaren. Perhaps he should take it by the balls himself and cut out the middle men for once. He's going to lose an awful lot of money if he doesn't.
timeEd32
Only way McClaren is staying is if everyone we try to hire says no. Would be well deserved even though we'd be fucked.
Parsley
As frustrating as this all is, sacking McClaren surely has to be contingent on a replacement being ready to take over.
bodson
Only way McClaren is staying is if everyone we try to hire says no. Would be well deserved even though we'd be f***ed. Seems like this is what is happening right now...

That may be true in the business world, but I've seen no evidence of it when it comes to football.
Hanshithispantz
I don't see why? We'll probably be better with a caretaker in charge.
TRon
I don't see why? We'll probably be better with a caretaker in charge. Only if we were going to need a caretaker for a few weeks while we shop around for a new manager. Far better to open talks with a proper candidate and get him in instead of the caretaker. The College Dropout
Swansea and Palace did okay with caretaker managers.
nufcjmc
I don't see why we cant sack him, let the other staff take over and see if we can get someone else in permanent or temp. It may still work out better if the coaching staff have had good ideas he has dismissed. Cannot be any worse.
BlueStar
"Business as usual" is usually a phrase meant to reassure, unfortunately our usual business is the business of spiraling chaotically towards footballing disaster and financial ruin.
Robster
I hope Leicester stick 10 past us.

BONTEMPI
I don't see why? We'll probably be better with a caretaker in charge. I agree. Will not make any difference if McClaren is here or not. He's a dead man walking so it's best to just get shot now. Clean break until we get the next sorry soul in.
sempuki
Still no vote of confidence - surely they aren't going to persist with him.
SUPERTOON
The express reckon there will be a final board meeting tomorrow to decide, as Ashley and Charnley are still reluctant to sack him.
