Disco
Players aren't supposed to announce via twitter (or whatever) when they won't be playing due to injury. It helps the opposition get an early idea of who will or won't be playing. I'm sure Enrique got told off for announcing he was injured via Twitter. That was when they were trying to hound him out though.

Wallace
And with Pardew bigging up Elliott saying that he has proved that he is a Premier League goalkeeper ............
Cajun
He could have picked up a knock/niggle since? Between 4pm Friday and now?! Seems unlikely. A human couldn't have been injured or taken ill in the space of 19 hours? I understand the paranoia but we were very upfront with the Cabaye situation (even inviting bids apparently), why would we do that with him but pretend Krul is injured? We might even start a bidding war if we let other clubs know!
SAK
Noticed he played it from hand a lot yesterday instead of just punting it up top. I guess having three ball playing players as options helped (yanga-mbiwa, colo, anita). Resulted in us keeping possession instead of the ball coming straight back at us. Wilson
Even our corners were a bit different though, couple of short ones as well (may well be because Taylor wasn't there to aim for the back post ) ...but it seemed we were actually trying a passing game most of the time. It was very obvious to me that he was being cautious generally.

Mole_Toonfan
How high would people rate him amongst other keepers in the PL? When fit he's top 5 IMO his problem is staying fit. We all saw how good a fit and in form Krul is when we finished 5th.
The College Dropout
Defensively he's up there top 5. His distribution marks him down a little. Still a top, top keeper imo. Hope he can play every game this season
Benwell Lad
How high would people rate him amongst other keepers in the PL? Don't know if he's the best but all things considered I wouldn't swap him for any other.
Unbelievable
How high would people rate him amongst other keepers in the PL? Don't know if he's the best but all things considered I wouldn't swap him for any other. There aren't that many great goalkeepers in the Premiership at the moment, so I'd go along with that. The College Dropout
I'd have De Gea over him. Wouldn't swap him for any other but I don't pay close attention to other GK's. Mignolet, Begovic and Lloris and a few others look very good whenever I see them. I'd have Krul over Hart, Szchesny and loads of other good GK's. Nobody
De Gea is comfortably the best in the league IMO, Mignolet, Krul and Lloris being in the tier below him. Staggering how much Hart has gone backwards, City really could do with improving on him.

Not a big fan of Cech, but he probably deserves to be in there to be fair.
