Funny as when we started singing "du du du du Yaya Toure" at them and the whole corner did the Poznan. I can't remember anyone ever getting a reception like Michael Owen did tonight. The booing was so loud, then he got "one greedy bastard", "Joey, Joey, beat him up", "Michael Owen is a fucking arsehole" and booed every time he was near the ball. Dead proud of the lads tonight. We were solid at the back and didn't just sit back and let them boss us. Well said. I was terrified of the thought of Owen grabbing them a winner when he came on. Very proud of all the lads tonight, none of them let us down. The lad's an absolute cunt bucket, would gladly pay to watch him get hit by a high speed train. madras Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 happy with that even if it was a bit backs to the wall for the final 30mins when thay took over and their passing and movement really told. didn't think either penalty claim should've been given but i'd like another look and lovens header that went over at the start of the second half as the challenge seemed very late and dangerous. also why wasn't nani booked for his dive ? the ref obviously saw it as he stopped to talk to him about it for long enough.
