alexf
Yay, my Spanish-only FF team has a starting striker at last You could of had Torres.
Oakie Doke
well Valencia certainly put the SOLD into SOLDado http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,91852.0.html

Village Idiot
Anyway, Adebayor-Soldado are excellent on paper. Even if expensive, this is great business for Spurs.
jdckelly
ah rooney has picked up another "injury"
AlanSkÃrare
What a nose Soldado has. All over the place. Excellent signing for them. Many of them reckon Adebayor is off to Turkey though.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
Carlton Cole spotted in Leeds today.
NEEJ
£26m for Soldado. Wow. Not saying he isn't worth it compared to other transfers but the money splashed about in professional football is beyond mental now.
KaKa
Soldado is class, but with £26 million they should have gone for someone with a lot more years ahead of them.
Oakie Doke
I think they've overpaid, I'm just gonna come out and say it and I don't care if you don't agree cos that's the kind of guy I am sorry if I'm too real for y'all.
alexf
They will probably end up overpaying for a lot of players if the Bale deal goes through. Soldado will guarantee goals though. Quality finisher with a good record.
BrettNUFC
£26m for Soldado. Wow. Not saying he isn't worth it compared to other transfers but the money splashed about in professional football is beyond mental now. It's actaully hard to gauge a player's true value in football these days. One minute Rodgers is comparing Suarez to Cavani's 50 million price tag, two weeks later he's comparing Suarez to Bale's 100 million price tag. Just ridiculous. The College Dropout
Never rated him when he was at Madrid but he's gone on to be a very good player.
Mole_Toonfan
Soldado is class, but with £26 million they should have gone for someone with a lot more years ahead of them. Overpaid definitely but to get good players they are going to have to do that without CL to attract. Expect many more overpriced deals if Bale is sold. Right now, it's the amount we have to pay to get a striker better than those we already have.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Fulham Football Club @FulhamFC 1m Jol has confirmed that QPR's Adel Taarabt will undergo a medical at the Club with a view to a season-long loan. http://ow.ly/nEGCC #FFC Retweeted by Oliver Kay Expand Such an expected, "meh" signing. jdckelly
no option to buy apparently, strange move if so
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Off the wage bill while they're in the fizzy pop, will get games and can continue living wherever he is currently. Fulham are being used, basically.
Jack Flash
Berbatov, Ruiz and Taarabt should be interesting to watch.
Cajun
Was quality in the Championship last time around, they should have kept him, built the team around him (which he needs, the lazy shit) and shifted a few others. I would have taken Onuoha on loan.
ponsaelius
Berbatov, Ruiz and Taarabt should be interesting to watch. Dat work rate.
KaKa
Jol is a good manager for him, as he's an attack minded manager, and it's a nice attacking team to play in. I can see Berbatov giving him a serious rollocking a good number of times though.
Cajun
I wouldn't be excited by the prospect of Berbatov and Taarabt in the same team. Berba gets away with it because he has the moment of sheer genius but they'll effectively be playing with 9 men most of the time. I have concerns about Marveaux's work rate at times but he looks like Gattuso in comparison
