Just to gauge their body language an that. Eventually found them in the 3 Bulls mate. The one with the beret on was sipping a nice Merlot and looked pretty happy, but the two drinking lager said they thought the English, brewed under licence, Kronenbourg was shite. They looked like they were settling in for a session and one of them said that they like Newcastle so much they may just hang around and buy the club if Ashley wants to sell. We will end up keeping Cabaye, the club will make out that the failed transfer activity of him to PSG caused all the problems for nufc in trying to bring in new additional players. Yeah, as in probably not this window but long term (which is shit anyway, but I fear that's what will happen). Anything less would be even more stingy then Ashley has run us in the past. Have a look at transfers in and out since Carroll went and you'll see the outs even up with the ins. Basically as long as the club breaks even outside of transfers Ashley seems to run us as a break even on transfers as well, or that's how its been in the past.
