Flip
If this man doesnt get a start at the Emirates I will lose hope in humanity. Was poor for 20mins, but excellent for 25mins.

I don't think he was poor for any spell. He just wasn't getting on the ball.

Jayson
Wouldve come on here to say average performance again at the start, then honestly he went to another level and was easily our best player. Needs to calm down when he does brilliantly, takes it to far but well played.
Segun Oluwaniyi
You see what this boy did to Richardson, Pardew? You've seen that? You want to start a defender in the place of someone who can do these things? I hope for the sake of everyone he bothers to turn up to training. hakka
Extremely gifted bloke. Must play right wing from now on. How many perfect cross field passes has this lad done this season as well? Fantastic dribbling today, nearly scored a beauty.
Andy
Today highlighted the difference he makes to our team. Doesn't lose the ball any more often than Guttierez does, but is far more likely to do something with it.
johnnypd
changed it in our favour has to be said. tormented richardson. now start him for the remaining games.
Dave
Thought he was excellent tbh. The red card definitely helped mind, meant he could roam and afford to lose the ball.

AlanSkÃrare
He was class above today. Hope this was his game and that he starts from now on. So pleased for him today, brilliant.
Ronaldo
Has to start, it's as simple as that. Against Arsenal I'd play him and Obertan out wide.
JB
Pardew has no excuse not to start him in the next games
Smal
What a difference he made. Even when he has two people to take on it's no problem
captainhaircut
Sensational. After Bolton and Blackburn, hopefully this is the game where he gets himself in the team for a good run of games.
Minhosa
Honestly man, what has this lad got to do to get a start?
Minhosa
Richardson went off with concussion apparently. Something to do with rapid twisting and turning of the head and looking behind him.
Dokko
Does lose the ball far too much but totally offset by the fact he does more with in than all our players combined bar Ba.

At home, against a fairly shite team, and we're starting wide midfielders based on their defensive attributes. Well, I say 'defensive attributes'... Ryan Taylor offers nothing whatsoever defensively either.

toontownman
Some classy play from him today, still keiron dyer frustrating with his end product but light years ahead with a footballing brain.
Ishmael
He was superb. What a waste of a season for such a prestigious talent.
Mole_Toonfan
If he's on the bench next week iam going to f*ckin insane, anyone with a brain cell can see he's our most talented player and can open up any defence......
