Newcastle have never won a Barclays Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium (D2 L7).

Manchester City have won 11 and lost none (D2) of their last 13 Premier League games against Newcastle, including a current run of seven successive victories.

Newcastle have scored just eight goals in their last 13 Premier League games against Man City, conceding 30.

Remember when we didn't win away from home for ages?

Remember when it was said we couldn't come back from a losing position to win a game?

Pardew's mythbusters.

I can't wait for football to come back.

It's back this weekend mate, it's just taking a 90 minute hiatus from 8pm on Monday night

I'm just glad we play monday. That way I can enjoy all the other games without worrying about us and be excited that football is back until reality sets in. Whenever we lose horribly on a Saturday I can never bring myself to watch any of the other games.

What's the probable lineup then? Back four and keeper are set. Are we going 4-4-2? Who's partnering Cisse? Does Tiote start? With Cabaye in the middle? Sissoko as the AM to support Cisse then?

Hopefully no Jonas and best case scenario is also no Tiote.

Glad it's on the Monday night cos I'll be travelling during the 3pms tomorrow and would rather see it than hear Mick Lowes.

So buzzing to have football back though, despite the shitty summer it's been. Got some nice bets for the car tomorrow.

What it should be....

Krul

Debuchy Yanga-Mbiwa Coloccini Santon

Anita

Cabaye Sissoko

Ben Arfa Cisse Gouffran

I doubt Anita would be too effective against these, Yaya Toure would just squash him

I'd be over the moon with that line up, even though I'm still praying Tiote can actually play football.
