Stifler
20p staked on us to win the league would currently return a hundred quid We obviously aren't going to hold a challenge to it for long, but I honestly think our squad is only a few players away from doing so. Maybe Pardew can convince Kinnear and he can convince Ashley that we'll go for it in the January market in order to finish at least 4th, but to have a realistic chance at the title. If there's a season, it's this season. (Do it.) Imagine if we won the league this season.

Ikon
Knowing us, IF we'd end up in 4th place we would fail to qualify anyway
jdckelly
Knowing us, IF we'd end up in 4th place we would fail to qualify anyway nearly happened to us 2 years ago, how heartbreaking would it have been to have managed to finish 4th only to watch Chelsea win the CL like they did
Varadi
Second in the current form table: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html Especially impressive with some of the teams we've faced.
timeEd32
If you go further back to the beginning of November we have the best form in the league. I think.
JH
We'll not finish higher than 5th/6th IMO. at a push, we could nick 4th but I think that relies on others slipping up.
Ikon
I think we'll finish 7th. IF we'd be willing to spend some money on a couple of quality additions i say 4-6th

Yorkie
We lost ground today like, no doubt. Still in our (and the rest of the top 8's) hands though. January will be huge.

Sifu
Whilst today could have gone a lot better, for us to be above the 2011/12 line at the halfway point of the season is still a canny achievement. Have to push on and have a somewhat productive transfer window. One new striker (a target man preferably to support Remy) and we should have just about enough tools to push on. Skirge
Its all still to play for, we stop believing the players will to.
Deuce
Interesting to think that we're on pace to finish with more points this season than in 11/12 and yet it probably wouldn't be enough for 5th. A lot tighter at the top this season.
Deuce
Is our best XI (whatever that may be in your mind) better now than it was in 11/12?
Beren
We have a right flank now, so yes for me!
sempuki
Is our best XI (whatever that may be in your mind) better now than it was in 11/12? Missing Ba obviously but better imo.
cubaricho
http://i.imgur.com/NE76szQ.png Lost that match in every season documented here. The commentators made mention of us not having won the last fixture of a year for a really long time (I don't remember the exact number).

Dave
Effectively seven points behind 4th now, looks out of the question already. Ah well, was always very unlikely. Anyway: http://i.imgur.com/a0eFEdk.png
