Guest Geordiesned
And more: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-ready-sanction-loan-10007626 Newcastle want to manage Toney’s development carefully after the club vowed to learn lessons from the way that Adam Armstrong struggled to progress at the end of last season. Pretty difficult to progress when the best coach in the Premier League decides to either leave you on the bench or bring you on for the last 5 minutes when you're losing. summerof69
And then slate him to the fans around the dugout when he miscontrols a ball. What's this in reference to ?
Ste
Back end of last season, Armstrong miscontrolled a pass and Carver turned around to a fan and said "that's what Arma does".

Chrisjraby
For the right wages I'd take him
Tiresias
he'd never come for wages anywhere near what we offer, and even then I doubt he'd be worth it
Disco
For the half season he'd be actually capable of playing and putting a shift in compared to the rest of the palava...Nah. Total headcase.
hakka
Not that it's even feasible, but I've always thought Adebayor is the perfect player to be on a bare bones weekly salary, but with huge bonus incentives for goals and assists. Always seemed to turn it on when playing for a contract, but then goes off the boil once he has it. He is a class player, just doesn't seem to have enough self-motivation to harness his talent each week like a top pro should. Even at 31 he could be a powerhouse still up front if he could driven to perform, if we could get him on cheap wages he'd be worth a punt on a year deal with option to extend. mrmojorisin75
No way we break our Ashley spending on striker record then bench the kid in order to play Adebayour. If he was coming cheap as backup to Mitrovic then aye but he'll not be cheap and would want to be first choice. Prefer to persevere with Mitrovic this season and hope he hits his stride. Marmoset
I imagine somewhere like Qatar will offer him something daft, and he'll snap their hands off.
Mole_Toonfan
He's good when he's playing for a contract, it all changes when he's given anything more than a year though
