He’s obviously had talks with the new owner and are not on the same wavelength, or someone has fed back to him that the new owner is not a fan of his.

In all honesty, letting him go will be a bad start for the new owner, as much as questions are still being asked about Rooney as a manager, he’s done enough to show that he should be given a chance to get them back into the Championship.

I cannot imagine any other manager coming into the club in 2021 and getting the club the way Howe did. I hope we make a decent start and we can see where Howe and the lads end up.

Can see leicester tbh, Rodgers had a mixed season, they start poorly will seem ideal for getting young squad going and unless he wants to wait a long time for a champions league team it is an attractive project with a patient owner
