Presumably you dreamed about us being the team that got him the sack?

I'm not saying no but I was hoping they'd drag him out to full blown breakdown after his performance last night.

Spurs job is similar to ours, not many leave with an enhanced reputation.

Could see it being Glasner, but think he has the same struggles as Frank did. De Zerbi would be an interesting appointment.

Tbf I do think he has been dealt a bad hand. The amount of injuries plus Champs League is tough. We know that. It's a legitimate excuse. However the consistent poor level at home is insane. You can understand the decision. Far too static and passive.

Not to forgive how static they were entirely but they're in a similar boat to us with an injury ravaged squad and a really congested fixture list. We've had a few more games than them but didn't they have only 3 proper first team players on the bench?

Yeah, like when we'd have multiple keepers on the bench two years ago, so I have some sympathy for Frank. Maybe CL has been a bit of a curse for them for a squad that wasn't ready for it.

But I also remember when we played Man U in the midst of a crisis and won - even our reserves stuck to the plan.

Yeah I think Frank is a good manager, spurs is a graveyard for managers.

I got the same feeling.

Tbf I don't watch them play except against us, but if I just look at their statistics, they were 17th last year, they are 16th now. They only had the distraction of Europa League last year, and this year they have the distraction of Champions League and they finished 4th in the league phase - above the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona and Real Madrid. They were also seconds away from upsetting PSG in the Super Cup.

Many of us think that Howe is doing an excellent job, if you apply the same standard I suppose Frank is at least doing a decent job though not as good as Eddie?

They seem like a team full of dickheads, Romero, Simons, Spence etc. all seem like massive weapons with overinflated egos. It would be a terrible dressing room to manage imo.

You neglected to mention Richarlison and Maddison but, I think your point was made adequately :)

I actually like Frank but he was dealt a bad hand when he took over at Spurs. He did well at Brentford but Spurs are not known for their patience and unlike Eddie he has no success in the bank

Last night I dreamt I was walking down a British high street and Thomas Frank walked past me wearing a tracksuit, looking really miserable and carrying a takeaway cup of coffee.

He was about 4ft tall, which surprised me, so I did a double take and had a little chuckle.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Murphy has got dogmeat for brains, like. Watch Allardyce on any of the podcasts he appears on now and you can see the bloke belongs in slippers in front of daytime TV.
