Exactly how is Ryan Giggs qualified to manage one of the biggest clubs in the world?

He's just seeing out their last 4 (pointless) games. Someone has to do it. They better bring their A game for Sunderland though.

Given Moyes' record at signing defenders, it's funny that they've sacked him before he could buy any. You can't blame him for not buying any already, because Smalling, Jones, Evans, Rafael are all full internationals.

Seamus Coleman  60,000

Sylvain Distan    5,000,000

Phil Jagielka      4,000,000

Leighton Baines  6,000,000

Lescott bought for 5,000,000 sold for 22,000,000, which covers the cost of the above. Rogers paid 15M on Sahko alone. Yobo cost 1,000,000 and made nearly 200 appearances.

Whilst he never signed them he also had Stubbs and Weir playing as a fantastic defensive partnership particularly in the 04/05 season.

They are still blaming Moyes, someone on Facebook said "Giggs interim manager" and someone commented can't be worse than Moyes.

Its not the lazy shit players is it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they win a few on the bounce now. Giggs will want them attacking in numbers like they did under Fergie.

That probably rules him out of the Barça job too. Damn.

Good on him though. Would be easy to leave Dortmund at this point.

Why would it be easy to leave BVB for Man U in its current state?

Man Utd. have greater financial pull and get to keep their best players most of the time. After basically having to sell his first team, it looks like BVB will be in a position to compete better in wages and transfer fees now they've cleared most of their debts. So I guess Klopp thinks they'll become better rather than coming to the end of the glory days.

Truthfully there's only maybe 6 European sides that have as much potential as Manchester United & BVB isn't one of them.

If you're relying on Jones, Evans, Smalling and Rafael you're gonna have a bad time.

Liverpool are top of the league with John f*cking Flanagan a key part of the back 4, seriously this is getting way overplayed.

A class manager would make this team a CL qualifier.

on the other side of things they have Luiz Suarez who is one of the best players in the world and a young and above all else hungry side looking to win things, Man Utd don't have any world class players (RVP maybe but too broken to rely on) and the spine of the side is ageing and won it all. Its looked weak for years and the few times under fergie teams had the balls to attack them they looked vulnerable but few sides had that kind of courage because of the fergie fear factor.

Liverpool have a fantastic midfield in front of the defence and better CBs to help out those next to them. Phil Jones is the best available CB Man U have got and he makes mistakes all the time.

The same Jon Flanagan who's looked excellent fo the last 6 months?

Excellent? Jumping on the Liverpool-bandwagon. Definitely been their weakest link for many games. He's a good player no doubt considering he sticks to basics and is very young. But I think it's a bit too much calling him excellent.

So you're agreeing it's the manager? Either way that squad is good enough for the top four.

I think a drop was inevitable but things weren't helped through club level incompetence, chasing for Fabregas which anyone with half a brain knew was a non starter, there needed to be a bigger turnover in players in the summer so instead of a bunch of old players who would always be comparing moyes to fergie in rather unflattering terms you have younger players who are fully aware of the managers vision and buy into it. Moyes has to take blame but theres plenty to go around and to put it all on Moyes is stupid.

 I haven't checked recently but I think both defences have conceded the same number of goals so the difference between both teams is Liverpool's unstoppable attack force spearheaded by Suarez.
