ilikenewcastle
Whilst Pardew is no Mourinho, it must be pretty clear now, to anyone with an open mind, that he's nowhere near as useless as the SackPardew brigade were saying. All this bluster about how it won't last is just covering up the realisation that hounding him out of his job was a mistake. Rubbish. For a start he wasn't hounded out at all. Secondly, I don't give a s**t what he's doing for another club. The last 3 seasons under Pardew were terrible, did you enjoy them? Did you enjoy the indignity of being managed by a crass chancer? Did you enjoy the record defeats and losing streaks?

Superior Acuña
Do you remember only the season before last where we almost got relegated, still with Cabaye I may add? How any manger survived that is astonishing. Do you remember how much you enjoyed watching Newcastle between January and October last year? How he survived that is astonishing. This time 2013 almost relegated This time 2014 record breaking bad form I don't know how anyone can forget how depressing it was watching us for 2 and a half seasons. The fact that we're still depressing shows that the problem has not been fixed, not that there isn't/wasn't a problem.
Wullie
We're in an almost identical situation to 12-13 but yeah great point. Cronky still avoiding comment on his advocating Carver for the job three months ago, all because Palace won one game in five.

I kna. It would be like Lewis Hamilton complaining about his tyres wearing and his fitters throwing a hissy fit and being like "Well let's see how you get on with NO TYRES! I bet you feel silly now!" BlueStar
I'm fucking delighted we forced Pardew out, even better than some people are still crying about it Best thing to happen to NUFC all season. Of course it would have been better if we'd sacked him, which would have avoided the mess we're in now.
ilikenewcastle
The most generous compliment I can pay Pardew is that he was a better manager than John Carver.

loki679
The most generous compliment I can pay Cronky is that he is marginally less of a bellend than George Osbourne.

All this bluster about how it won't last is just covering up the realisation that hounding him out of his job was a mistake. How's it bluster, man? Wullie
The biggest compliment I can pay him is that Jason Puncheon is good at free kicks. You can wipe about ten points off Palace's total otherwise.
Ketsbaia
I know people have different opinions, but I'd rather be burnt alive than spout bullshit about Pardew being half-decent up here.

KaKa
GETTING RID OF PARDEW A MISTAKE?! It's the one joy I have had in this miserable season you jester! Just because that hippopotamus of an owner didn't bother getting a manager in to replace him, despite getting compensation for that nitwit, don't you dare suggest such nonsense. Absolutely awful stuff man.
DJ_NUFC
Genuinely don't think anyone other than us knows that we almost got relegated with Pardew 2 years ago. He came 5th then had a decent season last year, good start this season and was driven out. Bang on. I keep repeating this to other teams' fans who keep saying we should be regretting hounding Pardew out of town, and they always deny it, "nah, he never almost got you relegated, man!" Neanderthals fucking don't even follow our club but love acting like they're experts. Fucking hate top-4 cunts.
Guest neesy111
We went a similar slide last year with a better team. I see a pattern emerging.

Tip: it wasn't John Carver. 14/15 Cisse banned, tiote injured and midfielders in defence 13/14 had Remy, cisse, tiote and a semi defence (and ben arfa) 12/13 had Cabaye, cisse, tiote, ben arfa and a defence Not sure Pardew would have done much better than Carver, he is still the better manager. He did in the first half of the season no? If fluking a run of wins as a result of every touch of his strikers ending up in the back of the net no matter how shite the rest of the team was is being a better manager then, yes, he did do better.
