Reckon we're going to need him for this when defending set pieces. Leave Thauvin and Perez further up the pitch and have Mitrovic in the box to win us defensive headers for them to counter on. If he wasn't doing it every game then he would probably have gotten away with a booking, but he looks massively clumsy in the tackle to me, and looks likely to do this every week. When you keep going into a tackle with your studs raised then land on someone's shin instead of the ball then you can't really complain if that's how referees are going to see it. You can argue the intent wasn't there, but refs aren't going to allow you to keep getting away with it if you do it game after game. He's a fucking liability at the moment.
