A real character this lad - was trying to start a fight with the big Northampton centre half within a couple of minutes of coming on

 He's starting to remind me of Brock Lesnar.  f***ing loves bullying people.

He did look pure radge.

A couple of great defensive headers back to the halfway line like Shearer and Carroll used to do.

Reckon we're going to need him for this when defending set pieces. Leave Thauvin and Perez further up the pitch and have Mitrovic in the box to win us defensive headers for them to counter on.

Aye Drogba had been the best in the league at that for years.

No intent IMO, just a very clumsy attempt to control the ball that went badly wrong.

From what I've seen of him so far this season he's going to be doing that quite a lot this season.

Didn't look like an intentional stamp at all, just an attempt to control the ball that landed in an accidental stamp. Could understand a warning or yellow, but a red is just fucking daft.

It was a stamp and intentional or not, he was nowhere near the ball. If he wasn't doing it every game then he would probably have gotten away with a booking, but he looks massively clumsy in the tackle to me, and looks likely to do this every week.
