triggs
Cisse's been alright lately
Disco
Wouldn't be surprised if they come on and win it for us again, seems daft that they came on fired up with a point to prove and it meant nowt for their starting chances.
Kanj
Stupid decision by McClaren to not start them IMO.
sempuki
Unimaginative - we played shite with that team last week until Ayoze and Mitro came on.
Varadi
Fair enough I reckon, fresh legs to win it again hopefully
Kanj
Would have moved Wijnaldum inside and Ayoze wide. De Jong in #10 and Mitro up top. Better win today Ffs.
Elliottman
I'd have started that team
Shelveys Hair
Cisse should of been subbed at HT last week.. no way he should be starting.
Guest neesy111
I'd have started that team No surprise.
Gallowgate Toon
Whilst I doubt Mitro and Perez would've performed as well starting as they did coming off the bench last week, I would've started at least one of them for this. It only works as a motivational technique if they feel they have a legitimate chance of starting because of their sub performances. They'll probably be fine coming on today but it won't last long. Reckon SMC is taking no risks here and thinks starting experience should see us have a better team attitude from the off.
Dr.Spaceman
Fuck off, man. Ayoze is going to want to be away soon How can you pick Cisse ahead of Mitrovic? He's absolutely trash.
Gallowgate Toon
Unimaginative - we played s**** with that team last week until Ayoze and Mitro came on. We played well all second half, tbf. Cisse should've levelled within minutes of the second half.
TRon
Not too fussed, but both De Jong and Cisse will need to show up to justify their places. They didn't play particularly badly last week, but Mitro and Ayoze immediately added more threat.
Stifler
I think the hope would be to grind down their defence with those two and then unleash Mitro and Perez, giving us a new dynamic which they can't cope with.
STM
Fancy De Jong to score.
Foluwashola
Aye, type of game De Jong needs to be all over this if he has anything about him.
Gallowgate Toon
Genuinely excited to see de Jong in this. If there was ever a game for his style then this should be it. Villa will most likely try and frustrate and break, he could be a difference maker. Keeps it simple but plays it quick.
sempuki
Pressure on after the results today.
sbnufc
As a side note - the way results have gone today, if we win Villa will be 11 points from safety (and basically 12 given their GD)
Dokko
So same team that lost to Tottenham? Well done you sackless wonder.
brummie
We are awful, and that's a bad line up. You'll win at a canter. Our only chance of turning things round is if we buy big, and well, at the start of January.
Guest Phillipealbert
Cisse is wank and he will be wank again. Thanks Shteeve.
Shak
Siems like the type of game De Jong would be well suited to so can see the logic in him playing, even if it is harsh on Perez who deserves a game IMO. Would have much preferred Mitro to Cisse though, hopefully Papiss can grab a goal but he hasn't been great IMO and i think Mitro offers more.

jdckelly
so the 2 guys who change the match vs spurs instead of starting are stuck behind 2 guys who did sweet fuck all last week. Makes sense.......
