The College Dropout Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 He's a very good player imo. Better than I thought. He's been excellent so far this season. Can put in an excellent cross with one foot and shoot with the other. Works tremendously hard. Looks to be our best wide player since HBA by a considerable margin. Imo some people don't want to give him full credit. A winger is going to lose the ball a few time and make bad decisions. He needs to create chances for himself or others while he's on the pitch or at the very least look like he might. And secondary he needs to be defensively aware. Townsend so far has consistently done both to a very high standard. If Cabella or the other lad had played as well as Townsend over the last 4-5 games the plaudits would be through the roof.
