Sticking with Moyes (if they do) would probably be their biggest mistake going into next season. Some clubs do well by sticking with their manager after being relegated (us obviously, Dyche at Burnley) but there are huge differences between those situations and Sunderland's. Rafa was loved by the fans and is a proven world class manager, Dyche was well liked and had a clear structure and plan at the club which didn't require a massive squad overhaul, and it served them well the next season. Sunderland have had a horrendous season, the manager appears to be hated by the majority of their fans and doesn't give the impression that he even wants to be there. He certainly doesn't appear up for the fight of promotion next season and undergoing the massive change in squad personnel that they will need. This could all change of course with a good start to the season, as this would more than likely go some way to getting the fans back onside, but if they don't get off to a good start things could really spiral downwards. Lovely, isn't it?

Needs repurposed for the last game of the season on Twitter.  "Hats off to #safc fans on their way to Chelsea today in Rafa masks to congratulate his achievement in returning #nufc to the top flight"

A picture paints a thousand words.

On reflection , this banner thing and flyover , what a waste of fucking money and upset......this picture would do their fucking heads in and should have been the ONE picture all over social media that would hurt the cunts.

No words , just repost this picture and say nothing.

Brilliant

of all the reverse piss taking thing our fans could have done surely a parody of this would have been rather good considering how much they despise moyes already and how much we love rafa

They're more than likely to go up than down so im.a bit surprised at those odds. Let's be honest, we've just watched a season of it, and it's an awful league. Take us and Brighton away from it and there was nothing else there. Fulham look good on their day, but their day didn't come along all that often, Sheff Wed weren't bad either and Huddersfield blew themselves out towards the end as most predicted.

I think they'll finish top 6. When they went down with 19 and 15 points did they not come straight back up as Champions the following season?
