Guest firetotheworks
What appeal was he hoping to win after admitting to grooming and fingering a 15 year old girl? Katie Hopkins reckons the decision is 'utter madness'. It's fucking nuts like. The appeal, not the decision obviously. I think your "aye I did it, what yi gannae dee?" quote probably isn't that far from the truth. Probably followed by "ah, reet." when it dawned on him that he's technically a paedophile and the perverted grey area of fair game age in his own mind isn't reflected in society or law, aside from the terminal morons and that attention seeking cunt. ianovthetoon
To be fair there's some sensible comments on the Nonceson thread on ready to groom but either the rest are WUM or are all on the cusp of being nonces themselves. Just build a big wall and add HMP and be done with it

Klaus
What grounds did he have to launch an appeal? if there's grass on the whicket? f***ing hell
TK-421
What grounds did he have to launch an appeal? if there's grass on the whicket? f***ing hell He'd already appealed the conviction itself and lost, This appeal was about the length of the sentence. Guess he was claiming it was unfairly lengthy, and only because of who he is. Glad he's lost it. Hopefully he's enjoying his time inside, and made lots of new 'friends'. Klaus
One on RTG. I miss him. '6 years for that is a joke, people have raped multiple kids and been given lesser sentences.' WOT
TheHoob
Aye I saw that the example he gave was Jimmy Savile getting no years in prison mind so I don't think he'd thought it through.
xLiaaamx
you can tell what the implication is - "Wish they'd let him out so we can sign him again." He groomed one of their own fans. How can you even want to defend him?
geordiesteve710
you can tell what the implication is - "Wish they'd let him out so we can sign him again." He groomed one of their own fans. How can you even want to defend him? He scored multiple goals against Newcastle in their recent run in the derbies. I think people downplay how important that is to a lot of their fans. Same thing goes for a few pages back where it was expressed that there should be sympathy that Ellis Short has somehow held them back over the last few years by subsidising their PL existence. For us the recent derby run has been a bit shit and symptomatic of Newcastle being shit in general. For that lot, to have had 10 years uninterrupted in the top flight and beating us 6 times in a row? These are their golden years man!!
Hanshithispantz
It's not just the mackems like, you just need to look on Twitter or read the comments section of a shite rag to see that. Many people see this as a naive bloke duped into being a nonce by a conniving little slut. He faces punishment where as the girl can only 'gain' from a law put there to protect minors from being sexually abused. It's considered 'left wing' to not mercilessly bash the victim from behind your computer screen. It's really, really weird.
Klaus
I think it is the fact that loads of lasses under 16 are sexually active, therefore people say the age of consent should be lowered. Obviously this misses the point of the law completely, but that isn't how internet mongs think.

It's considered 'left wing' to not mercilessly bash the victim from behind your computer screen. It's really, really weird. One of the worst parts of social media is the distortion of 'left' and 'right' that it has created now all those gobshites effectively 'have a voice' and shriek hysterically about what is 'liberal' and what is 'fascist/right wing/bigoted'. Don't bother with any form of SM now, you waste your life reading stupid things from stupid people.
Mattoon
I've just had a read through that thread having heard the news and tbf there's quite a few level headed responses on there. However, that Dangernonce is something else, even going as far as to call someone a "Mag" for berating Johnson's actions!? Oh yeah and that one poster who claims Johnson should sue the Daily Mail for calling him a Paedophile as he "technically isn't one". SMH.

Obviously this misses the point of the law completely, but that isn't how internet mongs think. I mean I can understand the argument like, the law is probably weird when you get to a 15 year old shagging a 17 year old 'n stuff like that. Using Johnson as an example to make their point isn't really going to wash though I don't think there's any way to make that point without sounding like a closeted nonce. Kaizero
As funny as it is, six years seems far too much. It's like what you get for killing someone. Two-three years would be sufficient.

Hanshithispantz
He'll serve 3 (I think) in the UK, I don't think that's too much personally. I'm generally for shorter sentences, but I think it's justified when a 28 year old man grooms a 15 year old over Facebook.
