KaKa
Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of either of them. Gini was shockingly absent in so many games. I remember watchin and wondering where he was so often, and we desperately needed him to get involved. I really don't like his game that much at all. Still not sure where he should be playing either. Seems a luxury player that you could perhaps slot into a team with lots of quality players and he can just goal poach then. I'd agree with the apples and oranges except this was wijnaldums first year in a new league, at a new club playing under a terrible coaching regime alongside a team plummeting. I'm not going to say his invisibility in too many games was acceptable but he certainly has more excuses to fall back on than Sissoko. I've said it before and I will say it again. If we had managed to stay up the majority of the board would be optimistic and seeing his goal return as a very promising first season rather than using him as another scapegoat for many players and management's failure. Yeah, fair enough. I guess what frustrated me so much about Gini is that he wasn't even trying things, and struggling to pull them off, that I could understand. I mean he has pace and good ability on the ball, but hardly ever took people on for example. Really strange. It will be fascinating to see how he fares in another side if he stays in the Prem. Leazes_End_Mag
Mirror reporting that we asked for ibe and 10m+ last week for Wiji but bournemouth stepped in and scuppered the deal. Also says tottenham will offer us players too as well as money for him.
Figures 1-0 Football
To be fair, we're in a win-win situation with Gini and Sissoko. Keep them (due to no decent offers or whatever) - they then have to perform well for at least half of the season to have any chance of getting a move away in January. Sell them (due to a decent sized offer coming in) - we then have £40m+ to strengthen to squad. Personally I think both players have their talents, but both have such a poor characters that the bad days outweigh the good days.
Teasy
Don't particularly like either Sissoko or Wijnaldum. But even Sissoko stepped up a bit once Benitez got a handle on things. Right till the end Wijnaldum was nowt but a liability. Yet the fucker can turn around and talk about how well he's done, delusional and and absolutely no soul what so ever. LoveItIfWeBeatU
The problem with selling Wijnaldum and Sissoko is replacing them. There's only so many players we can attract who are good enough for the Premiership but are willing to play for a season in the Championship. The same goes for Cisse's replacement. Guest
Cisse's replacement not so much. I think Gayle is more than enough to replace him. Sissoko and Wijnaldum though, I agree.

Tubestationatmidnight
So they have more bad days than good days and are cowards yet we couldn't replace them with 40m? Ok then
Ikon
For me it's win/win regarding Winecum and Sissoko. Not bothered either way

Altamullan
I like the idea of picking from the best Scotland have to offer. Looks like we might get two of their international team. Any more which can do what we need in the Championship and, ideally, have room for further development?
James
Of Sissoko and Wijnaldum I think I would rather have Sissoko in the team as he will try to influence a game you just have to motivate him to give his best in all games. Wijnaldum on the other hand is a coward and hides when the going gets tough even when Rafa took charge, whereas Sissoko clearly upped his game. Having said that we have got at least a year in this division, and the first year up won't be easy (target 10th to 14th). We need a dependable spine we can add quality to later on. Them too can't offer that.
bowlingcrofty
Can't see any mention of Targett online.

Scotland and Scottish football is horrific right now and other than a tenuous link to Hanley that I don't think is going anywhere I doubt we will look at the Scottish leagues
