Guest chopey
How very dare you, Sakho is not feeling very well that's why he hasn't gone to Austria.
John P
Sakho would absolutely destroy the championship, can't see it happening though unfortunately.
Ashley17
Been reading Bellamy's book, his comments on Rafa were that he was basically a control freak who loves to rotate but was very astute tactically, though very stubborn. Nothing we didn't know already but if we sign Hanley, it's naive to think that will automatically relegate somebody to the bench, it just means there will be plenty of rotation which is no bad thing in a 50ish game season Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
huss9
How very dare you, Sakho is not feeling very well that's why he hasn't gone to Austria. compare that with the behaviour of gini and thauvin, whatever you think of them. thats the power of Rafa. Ikon
Whatever happens with Wijnaldum and Sissoko i hope that Rafa sets a deadline if they are to leave (which we will in some way) . Nothing before that then they stay, as simple as that. Somehow i feel 100% certain that Rafa will do it right. Compared to, say Pardew
Guest chopey
Pardew would have had 80% off label's tied around their necks weeks ago.
Figures 1-0 Football
To force a move to somewhere. Terrible attitude though getting paid thousands a week and refuses to play football. Not that I think he is behaving correctly, but their owners gave a public interview where they said they wanted to replace him with someone better Think he's quite right to be a bit pissed off. Scoot
Pardew would have had 80% off label's tied around their necks weeks ago. He'd have been trying to flog them since the end of last season whilst telling us we can't compete with Burton Albion and Brighton.

nufc4eva
Imagine the anti-pardew and that's what Rafa is. Actually has a clue how to build a functional squad and tactically arm them with coaching and drills, not just rely on magic
mighty__mag
I'm gonna take a guess we forget Hanley and go for Caulker or Lees.
bovineblue
I'm gonna take a guess we forget Hanley and go for Caulker or Lees. We should keep putting in derisory offers on Hanley until the window closes then issue a statement about not being able to get the deal over the line. SUPERTOON
Rafa's quotes about needing a CB could potentially be the first test of the club since he took over, by that I mean actually being prepared to go out and get the player the manager wants. In the past charnley just messed about for months and ended up with no one. Rafa won't take that so it will be interesting to see how this develops. Beren
Honestly, at what point will Norwich realise that signing so many Scottish footballers isn't really working for them They love it mate.
Wallace
If we get £20m+ for our players, the prices for players we are interested in will increase hugely. Should try and get the players in before we sell.
Theregulars
It's petty but fuck selling to Liverpool. In a few years we aim to be competing with clubs of that ilk, so I don't really want to be selling them our better players (which he is, whatever you think of him) unless it's for an inflated fee which obviously gets us a more suitable player/more suitable players. I think he's actually confident of getting a CB in by the middle of the week. He's now able to say that CB is a position we need to strengthen instead of saying we need to strengthen as we've brought in numorous players. If he was in happy I think hat if he was going to show this he would be more loose on the timescale and would be saying things like 'soon, and ASAP' rather than 'by middle of this week'. Odear
We do need to get one CB in, but it's only urgent if anything happens to Mbemba or Jamaal, we have this season to really see what the kid is made of, i'm suspecting it's stern stuff. Anyone being brought in will just be for cover so i don't see why we need to be paying mad money on average players, unless he doesn't fully trust Mbemba. Also his comments may just be to keep the current players on their toes. We will be bringing someone in but would be surprised if it's someone who will play regularly. We only have two specialist centre backs. Which team would willingly go into a 46 game season (excluding cup games) with only two centre backs? We need cover for squad rotation, injuries, loss of form, competition, fatigue prevention, African cup of nations cover for Mbemba and so we don't end up playing people out of position. It is absolutely essential that we get at least one more centre back.
