Excellent servant to the club all in all, as with many of his generation of players tainted with the general malaise and lack of ambition of the era but that's not his fault. Didn't he try and punch Bruce at one point and Bruce was in such a weak position couldn't freeze him out of squad for it. Can leave with head held high.

Can sort of see why - got us back up, helped us consolidate, difference is he hung around / wasn't moved on. But I think Ritchie was much more of a leader and a grafter and better behind the scenes.

 

Best of luck to the radge bastard. Would love to see him back coaching or as an ambassador one day.

Much better footballer and professional (in terms of his own health and fitness) than Nolan was as well.

Wish all the released players all the best.  There were no bad attitudes I gather, they tried.  Were not talking any Michael Owen's here.

Some would either have been released long ago or never here at all were we a remotely professionally ran organisation under the previous ownership so I don't blame them for anything.

Great servant for the club. Fantastic in getting us back up and helping us stay up in the years that followed. Hope he gets the move back to Portsmouth that he wants.
