AyeDubbleYoo
Been on hols for the last theee games but pleased he's starting to contribute more. Always thought there must be something about him for Rafa to sign him.

Sho Time
He's always been capable but prior to the last 3 games just didn't look like he could show it which was immensely frustrating. I'm glad he's starting to turn it round.
TRon
Great finish that. Showed strength again in holding off the defender, then a perfect one on one finish.
Happinesstan
He's always been capable but prior to the last 3 games just didn't look like he could show it which was immensely frustrating. I'm glad he's starting to turn it round. Can't deny he's been frustrating, like. but he has always imposed himself on games. Luckily for us his frustrations haven't led to him giving up. afar
Certainly improved of late, long may it continue.
Pilko
I think it's taken him a few months to get used to that role behind the striker, but boy is it paying off now. He looks like an absolute beast.

xLiaaamx
when's he leave for the cup of nations? If it's like previous years, around the 5th of January.
Disco
Starts on the 14th.
Happinesstan
If we can maintain our lead on 3rd place until Diame leaves, I'd be happy if Rafa gave Peres the opportunity to prove he is worth keeping. With Yedlin and Ritchie playing down the right wing, Gouff coming inside as a support striker, Peres can just hang around the space on the left, He's scored a few goals from that position. krybel
Hatem Ben Arfa told him to join Newcastle http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/mo-diame-reveals-hatem-ben-12362135
buzza
Now just need Mo to persuade Ben Arfa that we all still love him loads and want to see him in the shirt again sometime soon...
Stottie
I thought he would be played alongside Shelvey when we signed him. He's been doing well of late, but I wonder if he might have more long-term use as a holder who has the skills to push on or join in counters rather than simply playing #10. Holders who can appear where they are not expected are ace. Ramires etc.
sbnufc
On his way home now (thanks to Mané, who was the only one to miss a penalty in the shootout)

bowlingcrofty
Chances of him playing Wednesday? Depends if there's room on the 19.10 flight out of Libreville, arriving at Newcastle tomorrow morning at 10.35 (via CDG).

Dave
Really good today I thought, should have scored at least one goal mind. We've missed his driving runs going forward.
Benwell Lad
Think he's going to be a key player with a big role to play for the remainder of the season.
TRon
Rubbish today, and I've defended him earlier in the season when he was coming in for a lot of stick. He can look class at times, then totally careless at others. If he wants to be seen as a premier player then he is going to have to produce more consistently. ElDiablo
Clumsy as fuck today. Not helped by a less than dynamic duo behind him, and no pace stretching things either side of him, but still. Also has that infuriating gait/persona on the pitch that some players have where they look like they're not trying.
