3 wins in 13 games at one stage. Could you imagine this place if we did that now?

..but how many games were defeats...??

We've lost one match this year in the league and look at some of the overreaction.

I'll never understand why people get so worked up about the number of defeats we've had.  Number of points is the only thing that matters and I couldn't give a shit how many games we've lost as long as the points total is ok.

I'm not worried about the other teams at all. They're all tinpot clubs we should beat 4-0 every week. If you don't think we should, have a look at the squads, budgets, management etc. We should annihilate clubs like Bristol City at home.

My only concern is our players mentality.

Darlow is gone. Thinking he was Manuel Neuer the other day when he's not even Rob Elliot. He's made three major errors in our last 7 league games. Rotherham where he spilled the ball, yes he recovered but any decent team would have scored, then obviously Norwich and Bristol. He looks like he's had 30 pills before kick off and just wants to bounce around and kick anything within 30 yards of the box.

Lascelles is like a rabbit in the headlights when the pressure is on.

Colback just runs into people and fouls them. He's also on the ball far too much for my liking, considering his repotoire is three to five yard passes.

Perez is too weak and slow and doesnt want to know unless he has 5 yards of space.

You say that mentality is your only concern and then go on to mention Colback's general shitness and Perez's physical limitations.

Colback running into people comes into mentality - he can simply think about whether to clatter someone or not. Same with Perez, he chooses to bottle challenges and fall over.

Remind me how many times we have come from behind to get points this season...

You can't keep moving the taget until you get the response you are after - if the answer had been 4 (for example) would you then be looking for 'ah but how many of them were wins by more than 3 goals in the end?'

Fact is we have been shite when behind this season, fact is also that over the past couple of weeks we have shown more fight in salvaging something where in previous games we haven't.

Surely this would give rise to a little more positivity that if we were to go one down tonight we would have something in our locker to rescue a point? (which wouldn't be the worst result in the world anyway...)

Also the fact that we have won more games than others as well. We may have lost a large number of games but our points total is higher than that of Huddersfield and others. Only Brighton are above us and that's by only 1 point. We are more capable of recovering from defeats by winning more games. Also you have to wonder if our defeats are now turning into draws in the 2nd half of the season. If it is then that will increase the points total as well.

People are pointing at things saying it shows that we arn't going to do it, well actually the league table says we are and that's what determines if we go up or not.

Avoid defeat on Saturday and we're up, win and we're champions. Honestly think Brighton will crumble a bit now. That defeat tonight will trigger some canny unpleasant memories from last year. They bottled it.
