He just was never going to be a player who would push us to another level, but you could say that for virtually everyone under Ashley, especially after the 2nd relegation. He did his job for us and never complained when he wasn’t picked 1st. He gets to go home now and hopefully make something possibly more meaningful to him out of his final years as a player.
