wormy
Can't believe Bale is 29 in July. Still think of him as 24/25. Can't believe he still has that fucking bun, too.
The College Dropout
Bale would come back and boss it for a couple years when fit imo. Think City would be the best move for him but won't happen. Somewhere he can be rotated a lot.
sbnufc
Bales not a winger anymore He is Zidane playing him either up front or RM/LM (sitting back in a 4-4-2/4-5-1) is what's made him look so shite, the odd occasion he gets into the wing position he looks decent
Guest neesy111
Bale for me needs to be the main man in the side to get the best from him.

Mole_Toonfan
Not sure 442 is much of a help to his talents either, he's not some grafter winger like Ritchie or something. I do understand why they do it though, Messi isn't the tracking back lunatic he used to be and they probably need to make sure it doesn't hurt them defensively. Yorkie
Rooney's had quite the decline given how good he was. Doesn't seem that long ago that he was being (wrongly/unfairly) heralded as England's only hope.

Doesn't seem that long ago that he was being (wrongly/unfairly) heralded as England's only hope. Rooney was 16 when he made it into the Everton first team so he's been playing top division football for 16 years. His body will have taken a hammering. Yeah I think people underestimate this a lot in footballers, especially so in 'explosive players' like Rooney. Its the same with Fernando Torres, he was palying regularly at the top level since 17 and people were wondering why he was finished at 29.
