Really thought he should have gone to Man U at the time and played for Fergie. Keane and Scholes were big fans after he trained with them as a school boy and told Fergie they had to sign him. Think he would have come along as more of a forward thinking midfielder there, in the mould of a Pogba, which is more of the player he was as a youngster. Didn't really think there was a place at Chelsea for him to play that role, and he ended up becoming a pretty ordinary holding midfielder stuck under the tutelage of a pretty cynical manager in Mourinho. I hated his time at Chelsea so much man. Still annoys me really. He was a massively talented young player that we had very high hopes for. That's why I mentioned Pogba in an earlier post, or an Alonso, a Shelvey. More those types of players. Not an ultra deep, safe sidewards and backwards passer.
